MySpace Announces Dragonforce Secret Show

MySpace Secret Shows has announced that heavy metal band DragonForce will make a rare club show appearance in Seattle at El Corazon on Sunday, July 6 at 7 PM. Dragonforce will be releasing their new album, "Ultra Beatdown" on August 26 on Roadrunner Records. The Secret Show is a free, exclusive performance for the MySpace community.

"Ultra Beatdown" was named one of the most anticipated albums of 2008 by Revolver. "The album is an epic, sweeping, grand collection of infectious guitar anthems that'll inspire all who listen to either pump their fists in the air or pick up a guitar, whether it be real or virtual" according to the release.

Following the Secret Show, the band will be one of the headliners of the Mayhem Festival, alongside acts such as Slipknot and Disturbed.

MySpace Music has organized more than 150 Secret Shows since the franchise launched in February 2006 with artists like Gnarls Barkley, Neil Diamond, Slayer, Fran Ferdinand, and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs performing in cities around the world.
