Scars on Broadway, the collaboration between guitarist/vocalist Daron Malakian and drummer John Dolmayan - best known for their Grammy-winning, multi-Platinum success in System of a Down - has announced that they will headline their first North American tour, performing in some two dozen cities during October and November. The tour is in support of Scars On Broadway's self-titled debut album due out July 29 (Interscope). Tour cities are listed below; dates and venues will be announced shortly.

In addition, the band has shot the first Scars on Broadway music video for the track "They Say," which is set to premiere this Friday, June 27 on Yahoo!'s home page and Yahoo!'s music front page. The video, shot in Los Angeles earlier this month, was directed by Paul Minor (Muse, Queens of the Stone Age) and incorporates performance footage cut with an evocative potpourri of startling images from our world's culture - occurrences in nature, war, natural and man-made disasters, animals in the wild, human interaction, weather phenomenon, and so on.

With more details coming soon, here are the confirmed tour cities for Scars on Broadway's upcoming North American tour:

San Diego, CA
Phoenix, AZ
Dallas, TX
Austin, TX
Houston, TX

News flash, this band is retarded! Scars sounds like a weakened and diminished System and there's no excuse for it. Daron and Serj need to stop being such babies and make a decent record together.

Wow, that sounds like about 1,000 videos that have been made before. You'd think with the energy from all the coke he does Daron could come up with something a little bit more inventive.

^Like, dude,
what's with the unnecessary line breaks?
Where's your punctuation?
How old are you, 13?
I know,
it's shocking to find out some people hate what you love.
It's ok.
Don't take it personally.

Seriously though, if I hear someone use the word "rocks" to describe something ever again, I'll shove a shotgun down my throat.

To be on topic, I was pleasantly surprised to find that Scars on Broadway is actually pretty decent, and I've liked what I've heard better than Serj's solo stuff. Which is weird, because I always preferred Serj's voice by itself or harmonizing with Daron, and it would grate my ears when only Daron sang in System.

I listened to that song (I think it's called They Say) and I couldnt finish it. Daron's voice just got to me. He is not a lead singer. I agree with most people. These guys need to suck it up and do what right and best for the fans.

Daron is a talented GUITARIST..and he should remain on guitar. They need to find a new vocalist. They guy play guitar well, but does not need to sing.

That would be defined as SELLING OUT. I would like to see System together again too, but not if their heart isn't 100% into it.
