Matt Drake, frontman of Uk thrashers Evile, has issued the following update about dropping off of Hellfest:

"I am really sorry to announce that EVILE will no longer be appearing at HELLFEST this afternoon."

"This is entirely due to circumstances beyond our control and we are gutted to not be playing such an awesome festival, we hope that everyone who is going has a good time!"

to go from playing a crappy pub in essex to HELLFEST in about 8 months is a huge thing.
