Megadeth To Perform At MMA Event

Exciting news for fans of Mixed Martial Arts has been announced, namely that Megadeth will be performing at the inaugural "Affliction: Banned" event which will be taking place at The Honda Center in Anaheim, California. The event will be headlined with a bout between former UFC Champion Tim Sylvia and former PRIDE Champion Fedor Emelianenko, with the WAMMA Championship on the line.

I actually thought the Elite XC was all right The fights were exciting at least, but I agree with you that they was way too much time in between them. But I do like all of the recognition MMA is getting, because I have been a fan for a good five years now. I am very excited for the Rampage Jackson vs. Forrest Griffin fight as well.

Being a fan of MMA, I don't consider that a good thing :-) The recent major network premiere of MMA with EliteXC's CBS fight night was horribly cheesy with live performances packed in there for select fighters' theme songs. 3 hours+ for 4-5 fights is extremely lame. Packed with way too much cheese for me. I'm just surprised more fighters don't choose metal songs.
