Massachusetts four-piece, The Acacia Strain, is set to embark on a month-long headlining tour this summer. The SUN YOUR BUNZ tour, which kicks off in Buffalo on May 30th, will run through the end of June, leveling 26 cities along the way. Adding to the onslaught are fellow Massachusetts hardcore veterans, Since the Flood, and Nuclear Blast’s, All Shall Perish, who will be along for the duration of the tour. The Warriors (Victory Records) and Eternal Lord (Ferret Music) round out the lineup as they perform on select dates. SUN YOUR BUNZ will finish up on June 29th in Holyoke, MA, just minutes outside The Acacia Strain’s hometown of Springfield, where the band will have their set filmed for an upcoming DVD. The band will then bring the brutality overseas for a European tour with Annotations of an Autopsy and Knights of the Abyss.
"This is the best time of year to tour,” says The Acacia Strain vocalist, Vincent Bennett. “I couldn't ask for a better group of dudes to spend my time on the road with. Excited to see old friends and meet new ones. It is going to be a killer June. Come on out and SUN YOUR BUNZ!"
The Acacia Strain is also gearing up for the release of their fourth studio album, "Continent," which is due out on August 19th on Prosthetic Records. The band had the opportunity to work with acclaimed producer, Zeuss,(Hatebreed, Shadows Fall, God Forbid) on the release.
"We don't remember when writing a record felt this good,” explains the band’s guitarist, DL. “Continent has something to it that we never really tried before; some uncharted territory, but at the same time still left us room to do what we love doing best. There's a little something for everyone on this one...even that guy."
