Another one already? The stuff on Sacrament is not really all that worthy of making another dvd.

I don't really hate them per say, I love As the Palaces Burn and New American Gospel, but Ashes of the Wake and Sacrament didn't strike me as impressive.

Well, I AM a fan, and really love their sound. It is definitely impressive, perhaps it is because I grew up in the south. Lamb of God has a southern edge to their metal sound, and I love that. The riffs are ungodly, at times. I was hooked the first time I heard the dual riffs for 11th Hour. Thank God Randy continues to sing aggressively. I have to completely disagree with FS, Ashes of the Wake is a very good album, in my opinion. The new one was a small step down, however, I still own it...and it is cool. I have seen LOG seven times in concert. They seem to dig Texas, for some reason.

I am up there with you txmetalhead, I too have seen them 7 times in the Detroit, MI area. Ashes of the wake is a kick a$$ album and the new one still has some kick a$$ songs on it. L.O.G. owns.

That they all still believe in you! Dammit i love this band! Please please come to Montreal!

To post 11 - that was a cool comment. At least my old home town of C.C. actually brings some good metal to town every once in awhile. Born and raised in Corpus Christi, Tx.

Not only do LOG know how to play extremely well..but the lyrics aren't "fluff" - I mean the lyrics are biting, hard-edged, impressive, and creative....they definitely know how to catch your attention.
I mean come on...."My redemption lies in your demise...." - As the Palaces Burn...
Brilliant!

Some of the lyrics are good, Ruin's lyrics are still some of my favorite. But the whole breakdown for Laid to Rest of "See who gives a f***" is a little unimaginative. LOG gets too much hype in my opinion, but then again I've never been a fan of groove inspired metal so I guess that's why I preferred them in their more -core days.
