I see what's going on. TVT did the same thing to Sevendust after Seasons was released. They put out a Best of....(Chapter 1) disc which had 4 b-sides and some of their more popular songs. It's a shame that this label is doing the same thing. I doubt this is gonna sell any way.

14. writes:
I agree with Kanadian Korn! If you people don't like them then go listen to your Fu**ing Britney Spears or whatever crap you listen to. Korn rules and even though I have all of the songs I think I might by it. I'll do it just to give Jon money!
(p.s. JD is the hottest man alive)

16. writes:
Yup, you got me, I'm going to go put on my Britney Spears now.
I bet your one of the 15 year olds on the "I boycott all Metallica shows because I'm on the sellout bandwagon" when you werent even alive to appreciate Kill 'em All. Your so metal man. Anyway, "Hit me baby" just came on, I need to go sing to it.

25. writes:
Anyone else here notice nearly all those songs are from their first 2 albums? Maybe they are finally realizing that only those 2 were worth the time it takes to listen to them and the rest should have never of been played outside of their studio. At least they waited more than decade before releasing one though, it is so stupid when bands have been out for like 5 years and have 3 CDs and try to put out a "greatest hits" album.

28. writes:
I don't know what to say. I would like to say that KoRn isn't actually putting out a second greatest hits disc. But given the trend they've been following since Head left I really wouldn't be surprised. I like KoRn alot and would go as far as saying they are a favorite of mine. But seriously, 2 greatest hits records only 2 albums apart. I'm also going to ignore the fact they put out "Live & Rare", that horrible travesty of an idea "Unplugged". And now I learn they are making another greatest hits album? What's next a album of nothing but covers? Oh wait that is in production too. C'mon guys, I know you don't want to admit it but it's over. You helped make music what it is today but your time is over. Step gracefully aside and make room for the next era of (hopefully) metal. R.I.P Korn '93 - '03. BTW Take a Look in the Mirror and Untouchables are completely underrated.
Now Listening To: All the whiny 15 year olds who will call me a "faget" for "dissing" KoRn

29. writes:
its sonys making of this.. since korn recorded on that label.. they have the rights to those songs.. this has already happend with live and rare... korn did not profit off it... it was sony/epic w/e the label was that made the profit......as you can notice no new songs on it... reason being.. they dont have the rights to them

36. writes:
The only people that'll buy this are the people that already own all the CDs the songs come from.
And Kanadian Korn, I clearly doubt you were listening to Korn in '93 because that would make you 1 year old. And the reason Untitled didn't even go platinum is because it was a lazy effort and they get what they give. I think saying Korn "died" in 2003 is giving them too much credit. I haven't heard anything korn-y worth listening to since Follow the Leader. I don't know what everyone else has been listening to, but it must not be the same Korn I've been hearing.

37. writes:
lol cleary CrawfordTexasJingoJango you are not following the conversation. i am 23 listening to korn since 93 and that makes me 1? wow. thanks for ur opinion though. so on to an actual opinion.... how do you feel the untitled record is a lazy album? what does that even mean?

38. writes:
It was flat out boring and uninspired. There is a audible difference in the honesty of the art between a band that's making music out of a need of artistic release (S/T, Life Is Peachy) and a band that's still recording becasue they're bored billionaires (Untouchables, SYOTOS, Untitled, anything Fieldy is doing). These guys are going to wind up like Megadeth. Eventually, the only original member of the band is going to be the pompous frontman who is so badly in denial that he's hiring a bunch of jobbers to play HIS music.
If Untitled wasn't one of the most boring albums you've ever heard, then you need to listen to At The Gates' Terminal Spirit Disease. That's all I'm saying. For Untitled to turn you on, musically, you have had to been under a fxcking rock for your entire life. There was barely thirty seconds of real "music" on the whole of Untitled. I want to know how this album is interesting to anyone!
Oh, and I completely doubt you were listening to Korn in '93. Unless you grew up in Bakersfield and you had their demo, then you weren't listening to them until their self-titled came out a year later. Next time you pad numbers to make yourself look like a bigger fan of some sh**ty band, try to do it with a better band because all that did was make you look like a sad little fanboy.

39. writes:
wow again with the opinion of god himself! i dont even know what to say to to you. you dont realize that different people have different tastes, i mean are you a producer? i doubt it so i mean im not gonna stop listening to korn because you think they suck. second of all how do you know that i dont have theyre EP? you think i have to be in bakersfield to get it? maybe just maybe i even seen them live in california before there first release.again thanks for ur opinion though. Also i just checked out terminal spirit disease and its ok but its not platinum material never mind the fact its not even close to the same kind of music, i feel like ive heard this before. also what happened to me being 1 years old when Korn came out? huh? ur a f***in d*** face! i tried to keep it civil with you but your opinions are baseless to say korn only does it for the money is well... wrong. they have tons of money and again i think them going platinum on every album (except the last 1 for now) proves it. they must be doing something right. To say u dont like korn is 1 thing but to act like ur some sort of metal god who knows all is just gay. If you knew anything at all u wouldnt be talking sh** about untouchables either as it was actually 1 of their best selling albums. again thanks for your professional opinion.

40. writes:
Yeah, you seeing Korn in California makes total sense since you're CANADIAN. Now I think you're trying too hard to explain yourself. And how did you try to keep it civil? I doubt you even know what "civil" really means without wikipedia-ing it.
It's funny that you say the new album isn't platinum "for now". Maybe it just makes sense to the rest of us that that sh**ty album wasn't even worth PIRATING. And that goes for every album since Issues. And I'll admit that this is my opinion only and I'm not trying to come off as a "god" as you call it, but come on. If you really honestly think Untouchables was good, I also bet you own a copy of NIN's The Fragile, right? Or how about something by Otep?
There is nothing about Korn that is metal, to me at least. I grew up with real metal. Rust in Peace. Master of Puppets. Among the Living. Scream Bloody Gore.
The fact that people like YOU can call whatever Korn makes "metal" is laughable. They don't belong on a metal site, let alone an "underground" site. Some of us are purists and, I for one, can't stand it when any f***ing junkie loser from whatever suburb he came from can take his trust fund money and some of his Chess Club buddies, buy studio time and record themselves yelling at their dad for 14 minutes. Kids are impressionable, and I understand how you could've got sucked off, I mean sucked IN by Korn's lame-ass rap metal back in the day, but there comes a time when every boy must become a man, and if you REALLY honestly just listened to Terminal Spirit Disease, and you admit that Korn's new album may possibly be the beginning of a fantastic downward trend in their sales and overall fame, then maybe today is that day for you.
Maybe in 10 years, when Korn fan's kids are making music, you can tell THEM how real the shxt was when Issues came out. Then you can sit on a fencepost, hop up and down and smile about it.

42. writes:
You grew up with real metal you say... f*** YOU. Just cause you're 40 doesnt mean you know more about metal cause when you grew up you grew up with early metallica.
KORNs more metal than metallica (circa 1994-present) & you know thats a fact. Your problem is seeing something about KORN & writing your opinion cause you hate korn & have to tell the world. I see an Avenged Sevenfold I dont click on it, i know they're fags & I dont need to tell anyone else that they are fags cause the people that listen to avenged sevenfold are fags. Kind of like people like you

43. writes:
Okay, first of all, I'm 25. The people I grew up around knew metal, also, and that's why I grew up around the good shxt and YOU grew up digging in TRL's dumpster. And just so you know, Metallica's St. Anger (by far, their worst) kicks the SHXT out of ANYTHING Korn ever did.

45. writes:
please, why don't you 2 just get a room already and be done with it.
1 - age has nothing to do with metal, in fact it's the opposite, it unites the age groups
2 - record labels do this crap all the time, why do you think there is such a movement to get rid of them
3 - everyone is entitled to an opinion, and entitled to post here or any other thread they want, yes, even you 2, who hijacked this whole discussion to attack each other.
sometimes its funny, but you 2 moved past funny several posts ago, and its starting to look like the slide that both Korn and Metallica have started to suffer for trying to hang on too long.
Now, read that again, think about it, and then respond. Thinking before you speak also goes for what ever you feel necessary to type for the rest of us.

On to another topic...........................Does anyone know or like the Agonist? If you have not heard them please checkem out and tell me what you think. I think this band is amazing but of course results may vary.

Please tell me what ur thoughts are on them.
51. writes:
Ok normally I'd stay out of this(I haven't liked KoRn since peachy). But compareing KoRn To Mettalica at any point in either band's history is alot like compareing The BEATLES to the ROLLING STONES or even The WHO.There is no comparison. The styles are vastly different although they share the same or simillar influences.I think you guy's are letting your passion get the best of you.

52. writes:
Okay, no one, I don't even remember you being a part of this argument. You're no peacemaker. Shut your face. Nice try with the slide analogy though, but I think it fell flat.
And I think Blackdog should be committed to a f***ing mental institution for even saying that Korn is in any way comparable with the Who. Get your head checked before you have children who are just as retarded as you are.
And Kanadian Korn, quit whoring your sorry a$$ band. I saw you posting that shxt on the NIN thread, wasn't it? You obviously don't have a good taste in music, spammer fag fanboy.

55. writes:
who said anything about being a peacemaker
I was just pointing out that the humor fell out of this thread when the 2 of you starting berating each other with no regard for what the thread started out as in the first place
and obviously the point of you 2 getting a 'room' was completely lost on you
guess I shouldn't expect that level of gibe to be picked up by either of you
so I shall "shut my face" as it were, as I cannot offer anything more

66. writes:
Crawford, I can barely stomach reading your posts....you do seem to think that you are a metal expert, i.e. elitist...don't deny it. If you are so much a fukkin' metal fan, what is your idea of good metal - then let me tear it down...because your taste in musik probably sucks d***kk. Go on - loudmouth - tell us what good metal is ..mr. metal expert.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND i see yet another cover on that album.. the "hidden" track from freak on a leash no less.. Well at least it features one of the original artist who recorded the song. that also gaurentees ONE person of talent will be on the album.. i am, of course refering to the great Cheech Marin.
Regardles of wether this is a label cashing in of a crap bands ancient fame or the crap band itself cashing in on its less than steller ancient fame. This is going to be crap packaged to the fanboi's.. and grrls of course.. The kind of people that keep hanging themselves in bridgeend wales..

I'm here not only because Korn is gay, but so is everyone who pledges allegiance to them. And I've at least proved that they're all a bunch of sensitive wimps. And Spikeover, if you're really 12, you should probably stay away from Korn Koncerts and their fans because you're probably going to get lured into a white van by one of these child-baiting fanboys waving a chocolate bar around, and I can promise you, your man Jon Davis will be nowhere in sight. Tread lightly, lest you fall victim to one of these sad, desperate headjobs.

I heard that, Crawford! OMG!!!1 I know who he is!!!!!!!4 but i'm not telling! Daddy! daddy! Whyyyyyyy!?!?

wow soo much hate 4 korn . what ever I love em dont care what anyone thinks about em. if they sucked soo bad they wouldent sell records or be the band they are today. no matter what korn does all you guys are gunna hate on them, I guess your gunna hate forever because korn is gunna last so you guys should just get over it.

83. writes:
CrawfordTexasJingoJango: Go to hell! If you think we are so gay then maybe are gayness will rub off on you if you stay to long! Why are you here? I'm sorry let me rephrase that: Why are you breathing? Go get a life and leave the Korn fans to their's if you think we are so gay. By the way if you think Korn is gay then why do you waste your time thinking about them?
85. writes:
How did I compare KoRn to the WHO ? But my kid's are gonna be retarded? Learn to read you JACKASS !!! The only comparison that was made was in respect to how these band's are different & cannot truly be compared to one another in any way.If you were as smart as you think you are you'd know it d***HEAD.Now go back to your 10th grade english text book's.Clearly you failed that class.

To answer the question of why the haters of korn are posting..
This is an open forum for people to discuss music...
Korn are not metal, korn are unspeakable ***** but seeing as it was posted up as "news" we are well within our rights to blast it into the ground.

Another greatest hits album with a majority of the same songs as the last gh album. Get used to it kiddies because the labels need the cash(want the cash) expect it to happen to many more artist ............. whats with all the flaming? Why cant people just accept that a band wants to grow and try new things and break new boundaries, there not selling out there moving on, experimenting. Same with Metallica IMO they are the ones who gave metal bands the courage to try new things...I still love Metallica my favorite albums are kill em all and puppets and with Korn there first and peachy but they still have a majority of tracks on there other albums that i love from both Korn and Metallica
just love the classics for what they are, and the new stuff for what it represents....GROWTH
P.S for any one who doesnt know yet. Ross Robinson is gonna produce the new korn album.
He produced the first 2.
CHEERS ENJOY YA DAY AND YA METAL

i decided to actually read every post and i came across something very peculiar about kanadian korn!! read below and tell me what you find funny about what he posted...
Kanadian Korn writes:
wow ur a faget! im 25 and been listening to Korn since 93 homo! way to assume though thanks for ur opinion. lol f***in loser! why r u even on here lol
Kanadian Korn writes:
lol cleary CrawfordTexasJingoJango you are not following the conversation. i am 23 listening to korn since 93 and that makes me 1? wow. thanks for ur opinion though. so on to an actual opinion.... how do you feel the untitled record is a lazy album? what does that even mean?
well, kanadian korn-flake, which is your age....23 or 25??? seems even you dont know, yet you smacktalk others while contradicting your own self....what a dumba$$!!!!
93. writes:
They just had one of these what, 2 years ago? Gimme a break. this band is solely making music just for the money.
I used to respect these guys for bring harder music to the mainstream and for being one of the first bands that led me into the realm of heavy metal. In away, it's kinda sad to see them sink faster than a torpedo'd ship. However, they don't deserve to be around much longer when their pulling off anctics such as these:
- releasing two greatest hits albums, two studio albums, a half assed b-sides album, AND an accoustic albumm all within 2-3 yrs.
- And getting pop music writing crews to write their already simplistic songs for them.

95. writes:
hahaha to post 92 and 93. you got me fair and square lol i made a typo and you got me, i do tend to type fast and not proofcheck. i am 23 not 25 lol i do find it funny how someone finally pulled that 1 out of the air as i noticed my typo some 30 odd posts ago but no one had mentioned it, i figured people realized i made a mistake. again my bad on the typo! now that thats clear. you got anything else you care to try and diss me on? im open , hit me while you can. let me guess ur gonna tell me now how korn is sh** and everybody else who loikes korn is sh** right?

99. writes:
kanadian korn-flake, not all who listen to korn are sh1t. just the ones who try and make korn out to be something they are not. korn were, i repeat WERE a good band at 1 time. then they went all gangsta and trendy. they sent themselves on the downward spiral (no NIN pun intended) to what they are now. a band of has beens still trying to stay in the limelight, just like metallica..

100. writes:
you know man ur entitled to ur opinion but again korn must be doing something right hense platinum sales on every record. and another thing are you any sort of musician, songwriter or producer? i just cant recall why you think your opinion matters to anyone else. what have you put out there mr. producer lets hear what you got cool guy. im pretty sure you got nothing so thanks for your opinion that everyone has been waiting to hear. you and crawford texas jingle jackoff must both be owners of the same record label.

101. writes:
and what album are you talking about? are you still 1 of those whiny little b****es that says korn sold out during leader? cause u, just like crawford jackass keep talking about how korn sold out or in ur words went gangster and trendy, i mean all the albums are different, with completely different styles so which 1 of their latest albums are gangster? cause if you know anything beyond ur basic opinion theres no rap metal in any of the last couple albums, in fact what is that " gangster" is that a racist comment? r u some sort of hillbilly that has incest sex with ur sister? honestly u have the same boring opinion as all the rest of the haters, u have no real basis on anything, u just talk sh** out ur a$$ and think ur cool. again im waiting on that sample ur gonna send me of ur amazing skills to prove that ur opinion matters even slightly.
102. writes:
Kanadian Korn, what makes you think your opinion matters too? You really need to take a look in the mirror (that is if it does not break due to the fact I think your soul is extremly ugly) and quit with the bashing of others opinions just because they dont match yours!

you claim to be 23, but are flippin out like a 15 yr old. you are right its my opinion, just as yours is yours. you claim im talkin out of my ass, well you have just done the same. blah blah blah.....big deal, if you think im upset you are wrong. i got a good laugh out of your immaturity.....another korn-flake exposed...
as for the gangsta reference, the members were acting all gangsta, hanging with rappers, etc...their 1st cd was their best, and their last for me. thats all i was saying. also, to your incest comment, i have no sisters thankfully...guess the korn-flake got his emo feelings hurt when i smacktalked his fave band...waaaaaaaa waaaaaaaaaa waaaaaaaaaaa.....

Im confused..... they're coming out with ANOTHER greatest hits? How can they do that when the have only released 2 discs since the last one! Which none of those tracks are on here. It's pretty much the same damn thing as the last one give or take 2-3 songs. This is completely stupid. Clown, Kill You, and Faget aren't even on here. There is no way that I'm buying this. Jon Davis wont get any more money from me.
