Scythes-Of-Bodom.com, The Ultimate CHILDREN OF BODOM Hate Crew Fanpage, reports:
"Blooddrunk hit charts in high positions in many countries. As expected the album hit the pole position of the charts in Finland (where it already sold Gold). In Japan the album charted at #2, in Sweden at #8 and in Germany it reached #10. More world wide chart positions will be announced in the next days.
There are some new release dates on the Spinefarm website regarding Children Of Bodom. On April 30th Something Wild, Hatebreeder, Follow The Reaper, as well as the live album Tokyo Warhearts will be re-released as 2008-editions.
The three studio albums will contain the known songs + the following bonus material:
Something Wild: 'Children Of Bodom' (original single version) - bonus track, 'Mass Hypnosis' (SEPULTURA cover) - bonus track, 'Deadnight Warrior' - enhanced video.
Hatebreeder: 'No Commands' (STONE cover) - bonus track, 'Aces High' (IRON MAIDEN cover) - bonus track, 'Downfall' - enhanced video, not yet confirmed).
Follow The Reaper: 'Hate Me!' (original single version) - bonus track, 'Hellion' (W.A.S.P. cover) bonus track, 'Every Time I Die' - enhanced video.
Via this way, the two early and rare recordings of the songs 'Children Of Bodom' and 'Hate Me!' will be re-released as well because these songs were only released on their singles and on some compilations. Spinefarm could have also re-released the first and very rare recording of 'Towards Dead End' on the Hatebreeder 2008-edition but probably they just forgot it.
Also, there will actually be a 'Hellhounds On My Trail' single, which will come out in June. At the same time, the video of the song will be officially released. It's not yet clear what song will be used as b-side but most likely it could be the SUICIDAL TENDENCIES cover 'War Inside My Head', the fourth cover song that was recorded during the Blooddrunk recordings."

Exactly...CASHGRAB.
I *try* to support the artists/labels with my money...but this is the kind of sh** that encourages people to pirate, when it's much easier to steal it than it is to buy it.
And don't get me started on Carcass...but Jeff Walker seems to be all about the CASHGRAB after the previous comments he's made on Arch Enemy, Carcass, and the metal scene in general.

im kinda dissapointed that bodom revolve around the almighty dollar, as do everyone. at least they didnt pull a metallica and change their sound completly. anyhoo, piracy is a good option here, i only try to pirate when the artist either re-release a bunch of extra sh** or when the band is not sold in any local stores, like cavalera conspiracy, wut alexi should do to make up for this sh** is find the
*PICK OF DESTINY* and write a new kickass album.

dont' blame bodom... I'm too tired to research anything right now but the labels essentially own the released music, don't they? Or the albums, at any rate. They can do whatever the heck they want.
And think about it. Blooddrunk obviously got new fans onboard. So may as well say, "hey, we're re-releasing their old stuff with bonus tracks," and all these young kids will be like, "Great! Mom, gimme some dough!"
Those of use who've been alive 30 years or so are wizened up to the way labels work. grindbastard's got it straight. no remastering, no buy. and anyway, all the bonus tracks are available free at all sorts of other possible places. Nothing new there...

I buy tracks or full albums online the majority of the time. I agree, though, it sucks when the label releases an album - then 2 months later, they re-release it with extra bonus tracks. I am not made of money..but I agree with the others - I like to support the artists, so I rarely download - unless I lose the album, or something.

Why not put the bonus tracks and videos on an EP so that the loyal fans don't have to buy these again. We tire of bands/labels making additions to previously released albums with *EXTRAS* that we'll have to buy over and over for the additional content. Maybe if these were remastered I'd understand, but it makes no mention of that.
