To post 4. "Blackwater Park" is the best start I think (thats what I started on). Then I would pick up "Damnation" and "Deliverence" because these two albums show their dark and light sides to the extreme. "Blackwater Park" sums them up best from all their pervious work and paves the way for every album to follow.

Man, I absolutely LOVE (the edited video version of) "Porcelain Heart" and look forward to hearing the whole thing! And "The Lotus Eater" is AMAZING! The vocals shifting swiftly between those really beautiful harmonies and the death growl... Man, does it get any better? Yes it does!!! How can I get the whole album before June 3rd is my only question...

To Jrizzle (#4), I would say Blackwater Park, or Ghost Reveries... Blackwater Park's what got me interested in Metal again after many years of following a more... acoustic path... The way the songs blended technical riffing with beautiful clean/acoustic guitar parts... Caught me.

Interesting video, and a lot better than the one for The Grand Conjuration. The outfits and color scheme seem to bear more than just a passing resemblance to the Johnny Depp movie Sweeney Todd though.
The new stuff I've heard so far seems to be a lot more personal than the previous albums, especially on this song when Mikael says "I....lost all I had", you can hear the anguish in his voice.
