Testament Pulls Out Of Seattle Shredfest

Veteran San Francisco Bay Area metallers TESTAMENT have pulled out of the second annual Seattle Shredfest due to "scheduling conflicts."
"While [this is] disappointing to their Northwest fans, we wish them the best and hope to be able to reconnect with them at Seattle Shredfest '09," said the Seattle Shredfest organizers. "Seattle Shredfest '08 will be moving onward, and will announce the new headliner of the show within the next few days."
This year's Seattle Shredfest will take place Saturday, May 17 at Studio Seven in Seattle, Washington.
Pre-sale ticket refunds will be automatically supplied to those who purchased their tickets directly through SeattleShredfest.com. Refunds for tickets purchased anywhere else will be available at their point of purchase.

I don't know - I should try to listen to Testament before being so critical, but thrash just isn't my favorite thing. I am sure Testament has some killer riffs, and all. It is cool that they are from the Bay Area...that is neat. For fans of thrash...stay cool and enjoy your musik.

txmetalhead, look for the song 3 days in darkness. its off the gathering cd. excellent song. its about the theory of the winter solstice in 2012 on dec 21. be sure to have the lyrics with you as you are listening to the song. also, Low is a damn good song, as well as shades of war
