Bullet For My Valentine Chooses "Waking The Demon" For Next Single and Video
Getting bullied in school - it's every young student's worst nightmare, and the basis of "Waking the Demon," the next promo video and U.S. single from Bullet For My Valentine's sophomore album, "Scream Aim Fire" (Jive/Zomba). "Waking the Demon" is probably the hardest song on Bullet's album and has its roots in the band members' own experiences of getting beat up at school because they had long hair or because they were in a band.
According to Bullet For My Valentine's vocalist/lyricist Matt Tuck, "'Waking the Demon' is about finding someone's inner demon. Most of us in the band got pushed around in school so the song is about getting tormented, day in and day out for years, and then one day - 'snap!' - like that!"
The video for "Walking the Demon" was written and directed by Max Nichols (son of Academy Award-winning director Mike) and will breathe a visual life into Bullet's lyrics:

It is quite immature and pointless to argue or attempt to defend your favorite band. There will always be someone who doesn't agree with you. Oz is a great administrator, and he has a hard job. I am not a long-term poster, like some of these other posters, however, I am always entertained, and educated by their posts. If you like BFMV - Fine - enjoy their music. This band doesn't appear to care for their fans because they didn't show up to a venue, and gave no reason for their absence. It was ok, though, because the other bands were at least 100% better than them. BFMV need to grow up, and understand that their style of music is going to bring insults against them. As far as Bullet For My Valentine's attitude goes, what really put me off them as people was when they toured with Rob Zombie and Lacuna Coil and they left the tour because nasty Mr. Zombie was being mean to them by not treating them like gods. I also hate that excuse that they (and Trivium) use: "We don't care what the public say, Metallica and Iron Maiden like us so it doesn't matter". Way to show your fans you appreciate them there Mr. Tuck

I got in West Virginia Unniversity, I don't know if I will actually go there seeing how I still havn't heard back from another school, WVU is a 5 hour drive and is out of state while VCU (the other school) is just a 15 min drive downtown and not to mention a better school.
