They had better be using that in the most sarcastic sense possible. I wouldn't go to this festival if you payed me. Every year I say "Well maybe the lineup will improve from last year" but no. No it really doesn't. Every year it gets worse. Donington used to be holy grounds man now it's just becoming just like Reading or Glastonbury.

Where's Sikth, Converge and ISIS. No don't worry you greedy f***ers just drop us with unintelligent overproduced trashcore and wannable metal bands. What I want to see is a load of Deathcore emo kids stuck in the middle of a Nile pit with no where to go. f*** the UK and it's sh** music!

Judging from your use of the word bollocks I'm guessing you're British too so I'll let ya know something I found out. It actually works out cheaper to go to a foreign festival than to go to this steaming pile of goat sh**. I recomend Graspop or if you like it heavier, Wacken.

Yeah defiantly Wacken would be awesome some great bands play there. Can anyone tell me though why England is so deprived when it comes to metal. Do bands really care about the UK anymore I mean so many good bands like ISIS tour Tokyo and Australia. Great words though I'll defiantly consider going abroad.

It's because the UK for whatever reason has become kinda obsessed with other places in terms of what's heavy and such. Alot of kids are into the Boston hardcore scene so you get alot of hardcore bands and metalcore bands springing up trying to emulate Boston, to a lesser extent you get the wannabe "southern" guys who are into their southern rock and metal and play gigs hanging a Confederate flag up and such. I like the southern stuff so I'm not complaining about that one but it would be nice to see British kids do something that can be defined as "new" or a "British sound". We haven't really had anything distinctive since the NWOBHM in my opinion. That's why the UK metal scene is in decline in my opinion anyway.

I saw Children of Bodom in Tokyo twice, and it was WAY better than anytime i've seen them in the US.
