San Francisco Bay Area metallers MACHINE HEAD were forced to cancel their scheduled Seattle concert Saturday night (February 23) on the "More Balls, More Volume, More Strength" tour after frontman Robb Flynn came down with "a severe bronchial infection." Flynn's condition, unfortunately, calls into question the status of tonight's performance in Portland, which may also get called off.

For more information, visit the band's official web site.

MACHINE HEAD garnered the first Grammy nomination of its career for "Aesthetics of Hate", a monstrous track from the critically hailed album "The Blackening", released in March 2007. The song was nominated for "Best Metal Performance" (SLAYER eventually won the award for "The Final Six").
