KISS And Metallica To Play Bulgaria Show

According to News.bg, METALLICA and KISS will play in Bulgaria this spring/summer.
KISS will perform on May 16 at Akademik Stadium in Sofia, one day after making a stop in Belgrade, Serbia.
It is rumored that METALLICA demanded $1.5 million to play in the country, although this information has not been corroborated by an official source.
KISS will perform in Melbourne, Australia on Sunday, March 16 to close the 2008 Grand Prix.
METALLICA has been announced as one of the headliners for the 2008 Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, scheduled for June 12 through June 15 in Manchester, Tennessee. METALLICA will headline the bill on June 13. A statement at the band's web site said in part, "The Bonnaroo gang does an amazing job at giving you everything you could want/need for a great weekend...so hang out, soak up the vibe, and embrace the whole experience."
The choice of METALLICA as a headliner is bound to cause controversy, given the festival's more relaxed vibe and past leanings toward jam bands, indie acts and prog-rock. Although TOOL performed last year, the METALLICA audience is often decidedly more raucous.

How efficient that these two bands are playing somewhere nobody lives. What an easy way to make a Mack truckload full of money, and not a second before the US Gubb'ment can tax it!

I mean, I still hope both Gene Simmons and James Hetfield get to hear the death rattle of their first born during their lifetime, but you have to admit. It's genius.
Leave it to a f***in' jewish dude to own the most marketable band in music history. After the show, he'll probably try to buy Metallica.

Posts 1 through 4, well said! One would think that the logical way of manageing a band would be to finish the album and release it THEN tour. What the fvck are they doing touring before the album is released and why is Kiss just beating a dead horse with old songs that suck anyway?

This has got nuffin to do with the article but ive checked out all metallica an why does every1 like there early albums when hetfeilds voice is horrible. Personally i cant listen 2 metallicas early stuff with the exception of one an sanateriam so whys every1 like there early stuf?
