Rob Zombie Issues Film Update

Band Photo: Rob Zombie (?)
Rob Zombie has issued the following update:
"Well, I am getting bombarded about this, so I thought I would address it all at once. First off, The Haunted World Of El Superbeasto is my next film to be released. We are in the final stages of post-production now. So get ready it is fucking awesome. After that my next live action feature is called Tyrannosaurus Rex. I don't want to give away any details yet, but I will tell you that it has nothing to do with dinosaurs.
Tyrannosaurus Rex will be produced by Dimension Films and is scheduled for release on August 28, 2009."

Personally, I haven't been able to get into any of his music since White Zombie disbanded. La Sexorcisto is a modern classic as far as any self-respecting metalhead is concerned. At least it is to me. But, I do think that he is an incredible movie maker. I agree with Kalis in that respect as his films are certainly gold to me. Can't wait for more celuloid terror from Mr. Zombie.

This thread made me get in the mood for watching my Devils Rejects dvd. Its kinda funny how Sherris butt gets exposed in Robs movies. I think he just wants everyone to see what a nice a$$ she has. I saw this movie opening night and walked 5 miles to and 5 miles back to do it. Well worth it. I agree SaintBlasphamy that La Sexacristo is an amazeing album. I think Black Sunshie is my faveorite song off that album.

I liked Halloween..that was the only rob zombie movie that I thought was any good. house of 1000 corpses was a texas chainsaw massacre rip off, and the devils rejects was just stupid. I think he is good with the movies, but he needs to do something ORIGINAL because so far all hes done is a remake, a rip off, and a sequeal to a rip off.

He also did the artwork for the old Headbangers Ball and it was sick! James, I am a tad lost by your post. I have watched over and over the House of 1000 corpses and Texas Chainsaw Massicre amd they are two completely seprate movies. Atleast to me. Remakes are not bad if done well. I loved The Texas Chainsaw remake! ALL HAIL AND BOW TO R LEE ERMY! I love that guy! Would love to have him train me.

I thought that The Sinister Urge was ok but not up to standard with anything by White Zombe or with Hellbilly Deluxe but Educated Horses was mediocre at best.
Bottom line, unless Rob is going to reform White Zombie than I think he should stick to movies cause they have all been entertaining at worst.

I love his color style alot. It's grainy and very cartoon like in alot of ways.
Off topic, this site looks way diffrent on a real computer. It's very nicely done. I am sure that posting on here with a real comp will save my phone. Several times I wanted to take a sledge hammer to it because it was slower than molases in January AND it could not post past 60! Life just got much easier for me.
GOD, stay strong! I know it sounds kind of odd, but maybe it's time to get a dog or cat? They do help out alot. My little Eris (my cat and yes, am a Mommy to her) helps me calm down when I need it and maybe it could help you and your daughter?

Rob zombie is pretty amazing you have to give him credit..... i mean he's a director and musician i wish i had half the talent he had. But anyways 'House of 1000 Corpses' was a f***ing awesome movie... but i thought different about 'Halloween'. I went to that movie when it first came out.... i thinking it was going to be so scary that i was going to piss my pants but f***, that movie was hilarious. not scary as ALL. a little bloody in some parts but overall nice graphics..... Rob Zombie still rocks and i still love him thought....i'm siked about Tyrannosaurus Rex!!!

yeah he really is talented in everything. He's one of the main influences that got me down the metal path along with zakk wylde, black sabbath, van halen, and metallica. It's kinda funny that i used to think of that whole list as "metal" and now I consider them rock. I really am a fan of all his works. He's got such a unique style

With regards to Bob Zombie using the same actors in his movies; AND that he won't get anywhere.....Tim Burton has used his wife, Helena Bonhem Carter, and Johnny Depp in his last few movies. He casts people because they are right for the part, and in his earlier movies he cast brand new actors and recycled them from movie to movie. They weren't necessarily the best actors. Look at his career now. Zombie has an amazing eye for details that other directors just can't even grasp. Would you really want a mainstream actor like Brad Pitt playing in one of Zombie's horror flicks? I would flat out shoot myself.
