The Showdown Lose Band Member Travis Bailey and Sign Record Deal
Tennessee rock/metal outfit The Showdown has announced the departure of Travis Bailey. According to frontman Dave Bunton, "[Bailey] is engaged and moving on to the next part of his life. We support him 100%."
Meanwhile, the band will enter the studio in March to record a new full-length. The album will be released through a label other than Mono vs Stereo, however. Bunton explains:
"We have signed to a new record label, and when the time is right, we will be announcing this and giving you guys all the full details. We are very excited about the future of the Showdown."

Shucks, hoping this band would call it quits. Their debut "Chorus of Obliteration" was A-mazing but the newer souther-rock inspired record is garbage.
