According to MTV.com's "Metal File", DEMON HUNTER will tour this summer with the recently reunited LIVING SACRIFICE. Tour dates will be announced soon. LIVING SACRIFICE, which formed in 1990, recorded six albums before breaking up in 2003. The band's current lineup features two founding members — guitarist/singer Bruce Fitzhugh and drummer Lance Garvin — along with bassist Arthur Green and ex-EVANESCENCE drummer Rocky Gray on guitar. The group plans to release a new album in time for the tour.
LIVING SACRIFICE's last release was the "In Memoriam" CD, which came out in 2005 via Solid State Records. The album was a "best of" colection containing three newly written and recorded songs by Lance Garvin, Rocky Gray and Bruce Fitzhugh, two tracks from each LIVING SACRIFICE album, plus "Enthroned", a 1998 re-recording of a song that originally appeared on 1992's "Nonexistent".

I think the roughness of Slayer's old stuff is what gives it it's charm. I would say however that Onslaught's first two albums need to be re-recorded or re-mastered or something because I've heard demos that put those albums sound to shame! Still great albums though lol.

Maybe if they re-recorded all their old stuff I would like it :-) I just remember the production being horrible. I wouldn't mind if a few bands would do that (like Testament did). Some of Slayer's old stuff sounds pretty rough and I've love to have a polished recording of those classics.
