Trivium Recording New Demos

TRIVIUM Fan Club site TriviumWorld.com reports:
"The guys are in studio! The new demos recording is in progress!!! For sure you can not hear it but you can see them exclusive on Triviumworld's Virtual Ticket! Enjoy..."
During a recent interview with Metal Injection at NAMM 2008, vocalist and lead guitarist Matt Heafy reveled new details about the writing/recording of their new CD, the follow-up to 2006's The Crusade:
"We started demoing after Family Values, like October. We started writing some songs, demoing them. The demo quality is so good it sounds like a real album, which is awesome, so it gives us a really good basis to compare and fix shit, so we've been revising and going back in and changing shit up. We're doing another set of demos. I think we're probably going to have 30 songs to pick from and we're working with Nick Raskalenicks (FOO FIGHTERS, RUSH, DEATH ANGEL)."

Yeah, the only songs of theirs I liked was Rain and Master of Puppets, but then I realized that their cover of MoP sounded exactly like Metallica's and Lamb of God does riffs like the one on Rain way better. Too bad I hate LoG, too.
So, yeah, in closing, Trivium sucks, and anyone who likes them is unable to locate any better band. So, pretty much, if you listen to Trivium, I feel sorry for you. Especially since the Crusade sounds like utter crappy shxt. I'd compare Heafy's voice to Hetfield's, but that's like comparing butter to I Can't Believe That It's Something Different Than Butter But Not Really.
Heafy sucks an ass. Maybe he should sweep the leg, johnny, with his gay Macchio hair and his rockin' headband. Trivium is as trendy as heavy metal can get, A7X withstanding.

Yes - I actually bought The Crusade because I was fairly impressed with Ascendency. Man what a huge rip-off....I bought the album online - like a stupid a$$ - so I couldn't return it...I swear they do try hard to get as far up the a$$ of metallica, as they can..lol
I kept yelling at the band - I heard this song five years ago...hahaha

trivium f*cking rule. doesnt matter what anyone thinks about them, they f*cking dominate. if that many people hated them, then they wouldnt still be around. plus, every time you say you hate trivium, its just spreading their name around even more, so keep saying it and it will make them more popular.

I dont know where to go with all these posts...i think trivium is a great band.... Ember to inferno was an okay album...Ascendency was the best i've heard....And the crusade blew a$$hole....So i agree with alot of you on that part.....Ive never seen them live and i've never met them so i dont really have an opinion on that....But over all i think trivium's Vocals are amazing on all albums (although crusade sucked)...The guitar riffs, chords, solos, everything from Heafy and beaulieu.....Paolio is also an amazing basses.....

ok...what the hell....why are you talkin sh** about trivium if your on their f***in site?! Trivium is an awesome band! and how can u hate them because they use some of Metallica's ideas and stuff?! Metallica is pry the most popular band ever! who wouldnt want to be as good as them?! Trivium's members are great musicians. I dont see how you can talk sh** about such a good band.
Trivium - (Triv-EE-um) noun: band that aspires to be Metallica, very obviously admires Machinehead and Megadeth. Historically known to emulate all said bands. Lyrically inept but instrumentally proficient. Contradicts the ethos of thrash by injecting too much pop. Repeat: lyrically inept--Vocally adolescent.
Like Slipknot, Korn etc. they make a standup intro to metal band but beyond that they're just instrumentally capable hero-worshippers.
Now Playing: Slayer - "Unguarded Instinct"

One time after a gig i was chillin' there on the bus pullin' myself and paulo came in and told me that some guy he'd bin with had told him that if you rub vasiline on the skin it'll cause hair to grow. Does anyone know if thats true? I've been wondering about it because if it was true our whole band and road crew would have 3ft long ponytails coming out of are a$$holes. That would look pretty cool actually, I hope it works. I gotta go get more of that stuff anyways.
Oh yeah and after paulo told me this he went downtown
