thanks..i'll ahve to pay extra attention to both of the above mentioned bands sets and wander aorund during the performances by converge, comeback kid,and madball........but I was wrong i have listened to saxon before...I was looking through my fathers cassettes and I found a blank one turned out it was a saxon cassette and the name of it was Strong Arm Of The Law ...i'm not quite sure if thats the right title but I loved it.

I saw converge at hellfest in 2000.......not really into them....and madball I heard a couple of their songs...I liked Heaven-Hell that was an ok song but their other stuff is just not what i'm into....but thats just what I think but i'm definately going to check out most of the other bands on the bill I haven't heard of...I mean i'm paying the money so why not

me neither but your right...since it is their last tour might as well catch them before they end it......a couple of years from now when they resurface and release a sh**ty album and do a tour with crappy bands you can say you had the priveledge of seeing them when they were a somewhat decent band....

It would be great if all the better bands played on the same day and all the bands that aren't as good play the next day or whatever....but the possibility of the happening is not likely...cause i'm sure the promoters want people to show up so they'll mix the bands up a little.....which is a great way to make money.... thats what I do when i put on shows and concerts in my hometown or surrounding areas...cause people will spend money just to see one band and have to sit through these crappy bands just to see that one band......but i'm not saying thats the case with this lineup because most of the bands involved in this lineup are incredible

Agreed. I won't be at the front as I wanna go and get me some cold beer during the day and such so I'm not that bothered. I'm still gutted I missed out on last years lineup but this is another stella booking job.
Download take notes, GRASPOP knows how to schedule a damn festival!

yes its true Wacken does have a better line up.....i went to download in 2006....There were some ok bands but they've gone down and they will continue...it would be great if next year they make a come back though and have an entire lineup of great bands...but most likely that wont happen because Download is focusing more on mainstream bands which isn't a good thing anymore...but oh well at least we still have festivals like this and wacken to look forward to
