I know this is something the band wouldn't want to hear, but I looked up The Famine online to find some info. and there's a band I found on myspace called Famine (minus the The...) and they are death metal/experimental (similar musical style) and are TOTALLY anti-God/Christianity, which is not good for this up and coming band The Famine.
As you can see, there could be confusion when people hear about this band and might associate them with the other band with the exact same name minus the word "THE" in front of it, and then they'll be onslaughted with songs like "Renounce Christ" and "We F*** Together" by this manic depressive band that will probably stand for the exact opposite of what The Famine will represent.

A name change for the band- I highly recommend it.

Take care, God bless, peace out
