World Entertainment News Network reports that MOTÖRHEAD frontman Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister is facing a $100 (£50) fine after openly flouting a smoking ban at a concert in the UK.
Lemmy was playing a gig at Hallam Arena in Sheffield, England on November 6, 2007 when he lit a cigarette on stage, breaking the new law which came into force on July 1, banning smoking in all enclosed public places.
A British police spokesman says, "Other venues on the tour will be notified and appropriate action may be taken should any further incidents take place."

fair enough ban smoking indoors at gigs etc, i hate getting smoke in my hair and burnt holes in my clothes, but really all that this is, is a cigarette that cost lemmy £50 which he can probably afford tbh lol.
gotta agree... it took him this long?! heh. lemmy = legend.
