Killswitch Engage Frontman Wants To Work on Blood Has Been Shed Again

As Killswitch Engage prepare for their tour with Lamb of God, frontman Howard Jones revealed to Metal File his desire to work once again with Blood Has Been Shed, the band he led before replacing Jesse Leach in KSE back in 2002. "We'll probably do something else again," he said. "It's still just [drummer] Justin [Foley] and I, [guitarist] Corey [Unger] and [bassist] John [Lynch], and we'll probably record something again. We might drum up something here, because the band's been around for quite a bit of time, and we need to celebrate our anniversary and put out something — maybe do a few new songs. We'll reconnect at some point, because it's something we've tossed around. It's just a matter of everyone connecting." Meanwhile, Killswitch guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz is continuing to work on his side project, Burn Your Wishes, with Unearth's Ken Susi, Seemless' Dave Pino and Derek Kerswill, and former Poison the Well bassist Iano Dovi

Killswitch truly are one of the most overrated bands of our time. Howard is a pretty sh**ty frontman, his screaming sucks and his emotional singing is way overdone and just plain bad. Other than the vocals KSE would be half-descent, but still are very generic and overrated.

Good. Let him go. Then, maybe, they can get Jesse back so they can have someone singing about self-impowerment and all that crap without sounding so bored and redundant. End Of Heartache is a great album, but As Daylight Dies is the opposite. Boring album repeating boring lyrics from a vocalist with an excellent voice and awesome range. Sad, really.
I say they bring Jesse Leach back in. Seemless is bad ass.

Geeeze Killswitch is one of the best bands out there howard's voice is GOD LIKE and Blood Has Been Shed definately needs to make some new material. Jesse leach is a great guy but seemless Sucked big time and he shouldnt be back in killswitch i think howard does a better job than jesse. jesse was awesome on there self titled album and alive or just breathing is one of the greatest albums of all time but he left them and now hes in a Shi**y A** band his own fault no one elses but i truly hope hes happy and life is going well for him.

We must not be talking about the same Halford then because when I've seen him live he could hold every note and he has such range throughout Priest's history.
And Jesse is the better vocalist because he doesn't go over the top like Howard. He keeps his vocals right where they should be for the music they're playing.

I like Jesse a lot, and think he is fabulous vocalist, however, the last Seemless album was not that good. A few songs were good, but not much else. I was quite disappointed. The debut album by Seemless was killer. Howard is a good vocalist, and so is Jesse. I think they are both equally talented. I also like Blood Has Been Shed.
