On October 9, Canadian metallers 3 INCHES OF BLOOD released an exclusive digital-only three-song EP, "Trial of Champions". The EP features the title track, B-side "Key to Oblivion" and "In the Time of Job When Mannon Was a Yippie", a unique interpretation of the song originally performed by LUCIFER'S FRIEND. "Key to Oblivion" is a B-side track from the recording sessions for their recent Roadrunner Records full-length release, "Fire Up the Blades", produced by Joey Jordison (SLIPKNOT). The digital-only EP can be found via iTunes and other online outlets.
3 INCHES OF BLOOD is currently on tour with SHADOWS FALL and DIVINE HERESY, continuing to rally up legions of the Goatriders Horde. The band will head over to the UK and Spain for several early November performances, returning to the U.S. on November 18 for a North American tour with GWAR. The tour will also include a hearty mix of eclectic acts such as HORSE THE BAND, THE END and MENSREA. Concluding on December 6, the quaint tour will stir up a much-needed dose of sanity for the holiday madness!

well i like there shows there music is pretty average thrash, funny sometimes but nothing special but those other bands touring with them like the end and htb are fukking worthless. Mallcore at its worse example. And 3iob did a good jog at ozzfest even though there set was way too short.

GWAR isn't so great live... if you've seen them more than once you'll realize how uncreative they are and that they just slightly change things... its rediculous... the only cool thing i thought was Gor Gor... and when i saw them the second time, they didn't even play The Salaminizer

I think it's weird how people judge GWAR on their show like in the post above. I mean, they're a band not an acting troupe. I watch bands down at my local club play the same sort of sets all the time, though I guess if you're not into the music... not playing The Salaminizer is a crime though!
