Heaven Shall Burn Completes Work On New Album
German metal outfit Heaven Shall Burn has completed work on their upcoming album, "Iconoclast (Part1: The Final Resistance)." The effort was tracked at Rape Of Harmonies Studios in Germany and mixed by Tue Madsen. Guitarst Maik Weichert comments:
"[The new album] works on two levels: Each song tells a story that is rooted in reality. However, all songs are linked with an overall story about a cast of warriors called 'Iconoclasts' – obviously, we won't give you any details about those warriors just yet."
Century Media Records will release the album in February 2008.

No, Cynic's got one right there :-) HSB are definitely metalcore. They're a bit on the more extreme or metal side, especially much of the vocal delivery, but still having a lot of hardcore shouting. But I liked their last release quite a bit. German metalcore is kicking a$$ with HSB and Maroon (if you like that sort of thing).

You know what ? This metalcore thing is way to wide right now. Everything is called metalcore. I mean wathever. It is now a reason to hate a band just because they are branded metalcore. So just leave this freaking metalcore thing and you just say : I like it or I don't and not : I don't like it, it's metalcore.
