Satyricon To Issue New DVD And EP Next Year

According to sources, SATYRICON leader Satyr is currently "holed up in the Norwegian mountains" writing new material for the band's full-length follow-up to 2006's triumphant Now, Diabolical, due out in late 2008 via their recently "extended partnership" with Roadrunner Records. In the meantime, the band will release a stop-gap DVD-EP that will feature at least one new song from their new album, plus one live track and various live video clips from their last world tour. More news as it develops.

That's very exciting news to hear and look very much forward to Satyricon newest album that's scheduled for release in the late new year of 2008! The last album Now, Diabolical was certainly a chill binding darkly groove in your face: Satyr & Frost done a "spectacular" job on previous works and will check out their new Satyricon DVD-EP that captured their haunting dark grace "live" on stage that will be quite a "vision" to see. So all the best to the fame Norwegian B/M musicians SATYRICON as they put all their energies into the new works while taking their next journey up "To the Mountains" to complete the next dark masterpiece.
