Bathory To Re-Release Albums On Vinyl
Black Mark will reissue all 12 studio albums from Swedish black metal pionneers BATHORY on limited-edition picture vinyl. All discs will be "hard-covered by a collection sleeve" and will be made available on November 19. The LPs being reissued are as follows:
"Bathory" (1984)
"The Return" (1985)
"Under The Sign Of The Black Mark" (1987)
"Blood Fire Death" (1988)
"Hammerheart" (1990)
"Twilight Of The Gods" (1991)
"Requiem" (1994)
"Octagon" (1995)
"Blood On Ice" (1996)
"Destroyer Of Worlds" (2001)
"Nordland I" (2002)
"Nordland II" (2003)
Released in June 2006 via Black Mark, "In Memory of Quorthon" contains three CDs, one DVD, a book and a poster. Börje "Boss" Forsberg — owner of Black Mark Records and father of late BATHORY mainman Thomas "Quorthon" Forsberg — had previously stated that the package would contain "Quorthon's and BATHORY's complete musical history."
Quorthon was found dead in his apartment in Stockholm, Sweden on June 7, 2004. The 39-year-old, widely considered to be one of black metal's founding fathers, reportedly died of heart failure.

Cynic, man, it doesn't matter if you have vinyl releases. It's fu**ing Bathory, you idiot.
It's awesome that they're re-issuing these albums, since they really did define the "Black Metal" Genre as we know it.
Plus, Quorthon (R.I.P.) was amazing, to say the least.
Keep it Metal \m/
