Dillinger Escape Plan Announce Release Date

Relapse Records have confirmed a November 13th street date for THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN's new album, Ire Works.
Guitarist Ben Weinman recently said:
“I think the new record is a little more focused and a little more intentional than Miss Machine,” Weinman describes Ire Works. “It’s a little more intense. It’s just a super-pissed off record. It’s an angry record. There’s a lot of diversity on it and there’s songs that are a little more melodic like on Miss Machine, but everything is in your face.”

One of the few "core" style bands that I like. Others being Converge, Shadows Fall, Pig Destroyer.
Hardcore is important but for the most part it's not my thing....Dillinger of course is another matter entirely. I could listen to Calculating and MM forever, they never get old to me.
Now Playing: My Dying Bride - "And my Fury Stands Ready"

And so begins the long wait to November...Earlier than I expected though. Can't wait to hear how Gil Sharone sounds on this thing....Gonna miss Chris Pennie, but this may be a fair trade off.
Now Playing: Rage Against the Machine - "The Wind Below"
