Throwdown Streams New Album On MySpace 8/2

Throwdown's new release "Venom & Tears" is set to release on August 7th, but fans can get a preview on Thursday night (8/2) by heading over to the band's MySpace page for their online listening party. If you decide you really like it, you will want to pre-order the CD at Newbury Comics in order to get your limited edition autographed CD booklet. Click here for more info on that.

You can catch Throwdown on the road for the Van's Warped Tour starting today in Cincinnati, and beginning Sept 7 in Anaheim in support of Arch Enemy and Machine Head.

No, their past material may have been like that, but they were still good at it. The new CD is different, though. It's very metal, and actually has some good guitar solos on it. It reminds me a lot of Pantera without being a blatant rip-off.
