Megadeth guitarist Glen Drover sent in an update for the fans:

"Europe, here we come! I am really looking forward to this tour of Europe, as we have not played in certain areas since 2005 (Ireland, Scotland, etc.) as well as the festival circuit. Needless to say, this is going to be a fun trip. If things go according to plan, I 'may' be debuting a new 'toy' onstage at a certain huge U.K. festival. At this point there is a 50/50 chance due to time issues, but if it does work out, you will love it! Keep your eyes peeled."

Megadeth's new CD, United Abominations, is in stores now, having debuted at #8 on last week's Billboard Charts, with such new tunes as "Washington is Next!," "Sleepwalker," and "Gears of War".

The metal legends have also been tapped as ManiaTV's "Artist of the Day" for this Thursday, May 31, so tune in for an exclusive interview airing at 10AM, 4PM, 9PM, and 2AM - all EST.

I wonder if Dave Mustaine taught him the right way to play the spanish solo from Holy Wars yet...I just recently realized that the riff from Washington's Next is the same damn riff from Iron Maiden's Wasted Years, like, note for note. Damn, Dave, I think ya fxcked up. If yer gonna rip off another metal band, try not to make it one of the best-known on Earth. Durr.

I agree, the album was way better than TWNAH and Risk combined, but that's not really saying much. I guess I could say the album is FASTER than I expected. The lyrics are pretty witty and clever, and Glen's obviously got the lead out. I guess the album was way better than it had a right to be, but that's not really a horrible thing...

Just for my own amusement, how do you lack the right to put out a good album? (In all fairness, I haven't heard the album)
