After Spirit Caravan's spilt, frontman Wino has joined Place of Skulls

Although no official annoucement was made of Spirit Caravan's split, frontman Wino has finally come forward.
"Due to professional and personal reasons, I disbanded Spirit Caravan in May," said Wino. "I want to personally thank everyone who has supported my musical endeavors over the years."

Since the musician has been involved in heavy music for such a long time, many feared the guitarist would simply retire, but he's found a place in the recently formed Place Of Skulls, featuring ex-Pentagram guitarist Victor Griffin.

"I have decided to now team up with my long-time friend Victor Griffin, and join his current band Place of Skulls," continued Wino. "A heavy, two-guitar outfit will be fresh and exciting for both of us."

In similar Place Of Skulls news, bassist Lee Abney has officially departed from the band. According to Place Of Skulls, Abney left on amicable terms and remains a friend. Place Of Skulls continue to work on the follow-up to Nailed (Southern Lord), and hope to have the bassist position filled before recording begins
