Ravage Issue Recording Update
Boston, Massachusetts based thrashers, Ravage, have issued an update on their Myspace page regarding the progress of their upcoming album as well as their situation with their bassist:
"Greetings all,"
"There have been a number of things going on behind the screams in the world of Ravage, so this should fill y'all in satisfactorilly."
"RECORDING - Recording of the vocals has begun! The other night Eli and I trekked out to Fitchburg to begin the vocal tracks at Damage Studios with Pete Rutcho. Things went fairly well. We have "Rite Of The Night" pretty much in the bag, and did a little bit of tracking for "Freedom Fighter". Things are sounding pretty kick axe at this point, and I hope to have things wrapped up by mid-summer."
"NEW SHOW! That's right, we have a new show booked out in woosta at Ralph's Diner. If you live near Worcester, come out and thrash with us and the boys in CSDO (always a good time) as well as some other acts we've not yet played with."
"BASSIST? As some of you may have heard, Jay Alonzo is back...well, sort of back in the band. I guess we can call him a long term fill in. He will be playing shows with us until he leaves for Cali in January and/ or we find someone else. But until then, welcome back to what J-Lo used to call "the good days". (Note: We have not yet practiced with Jay and... "Jay's changed!")."
"ARTWORK - Matt Anderson finished up the artwork for the CD and you can view most of it on his myspace site (link in the Ravage friends section)"
"FORMER BASSIST HOWIE Snow's band Move The Rabbit is playing tommorow at the Cambirdge Elks."
"FORMER DRUMMER PHIL Coyne's band Revocation is touring this summer with a Pirate metal band. His other band, Random Acts of Violence has unfortunately broken up."
"That's all for now.
- Al"
