Tool Announce More Rescheduled Tour Dates

TOOL has announced more rescheduled dates for its spring U.S. tour, which was postponed from its original mid-March start after drummer Danny Carey tore a bicep while picking up his dog at home. The trek will now commence on April 27 in las Vegas, Nevada. Nearly 40 shows have been confirmed so far, including a co-headlining appearance at Manchester, Tennessee's Bonnaroo Festival in mid-June.
According to Billboard.com, singer Maynard James Keenan has been working during TOOL's unexpected break on new music from his side project PUSCIFER. Keenan revealed at his MySpace page that AUDIOSLAVE/RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE bassist Tim Commerford and drummer Brad Wilk have played on the tracks, along with ex-PRIMUS and A PERFECT CIRCLE drummer Tim Alexander. Keenan wrote that he plans to post songs on the page "within the next month or so."
TOOL will be continuing to support its latest album, "10,000 Days", and current single, "Jambi".

COB are an album away from being as reviled as COF. They're much better than Cradle but they ARE doomed to fame....and you know it.
One day you'll be disgusted by how popular -COB- will become and you'll move on to the next obscure band that makes you look ahead of the pack.
Tool's Opiate, AEnima and some select cuts from their other 4(Salival) records are f***ing great, even timeless.
This is my opinion of course but I think it's fairly well supported by acts like Opeth, Meshuggah, Porcupine Tree, Mastodon, Isis and the Dillinger Escape Plan catching on lately.
Tool helped introduce at least 2 generations of metal fans to prog and prog fans to metal. While Tool are neither prog nor metal they're a fair blend of the 2 packed into an alternative act.
Almost as important in -some- ways as Metallica, Pantera, Slayer, Maiden, Zep and Sabbath.
Deal with it Sunny Jim....Or find a new school where p***ycat Dolls are all the rage.
