Hey everyone!
We are a few dates into our headline run here in England and so far it has been amazing!
Kicking it off in Ireland was great both nights in Dublin were fucken crazy!
Every show has been killer , Manchester was for me one of my fav shows we
have ever done I had a blast and everthing about that show was just off the
hook! all the opening bands have been killer and going down really good!
I have been having a blast watching Jeff Waters shred it up everynight wow! and we
have been jamming and trading licks and tricks so that has been fun.
I'm going to be going onstage and jamming a song with them during the set so im
looking forward to doing that! total fan geek time for me! can't wait to hit
all the other dates on the tour cause I know they will be a blast , and
want to thank everyone at the first handfull of shows who have made this
tour kick off in an amazing way!
Thank you so much!
Corey

Why would I be angry they got so big so fast if they were awesome? If they were I wouldn't mind but they're not, they're crap. Sacred Reich were awesome but they didn't gain the success Trivium did. Same with Testament, Kreator, Exodus etc. Bottom line- you don't have to be awesome to gain quick success, Trivium is living proof of this.

^I thing why that was because the media was overinflating them and hailing them as this generation's metallica even when they were still metalcore
But I love Trivium both Metalcore and Trash form, He sounds like Hetfield but Trivium has their own sound with the melodic chourus ie ignition, ascendency, like lite to flies, unrepentant, declaration , i prefer the metalcore version Ascendancy is one of the best metalcore albums ive heard, when they shifted to trash i was p***ed, but i kept listening to it and i realized that they are an excellent trash band

Trivium just lost all originality when they switched over from Thrashcore to Trash. I will admit the Crusade is better than anything Metallica has put out in the past decade that wasn't a collaboration of covers and b-sides.

It is what it is when it comes to Trivium.
I'm not a fan but I support their cause. They grew up on Metallica, Testament and Megadeth and they are taking that influence and putting their own spin on it.
I think they're technically gifted players and the lyrics are very adolescent (because they are infact kids/young adults). They are out there for the metal kids - not established, cynical and selective metal adults like ourselves. I would have loved a band like Trivium when I was in my teens in the 90's.
Regardless...they're better than A7X or My Chem any way you cut it...and the Crusade's 80's party metal sounding songs do suck IMHO.
Now Playing: Converge - "Concubine"
