I think it would be a shame if everyone just bashed an artist or blindly supported them. Discussing the pros and cons of an artist gives these forums purpose.
I think Manson had some viable music between Antichrist, Holywood and Mechanical Animals. Nothing great, or metal (so theres no confusion) by any means...but listenable. John 5 really added a dimension to Mansons music that wasn't there prior to Holywood.
Unfortunately Goldenage and Eatme are dumbed down for whatever fans Manson has left and the masses he thinks he can win over at this juncture.

If the rest of the album is anything like If I Was Your Vampire then it's gonna be even worse than that last piece of crap Nine Inch Nails released. Manson is absolutly amazing... Those who choose to insult him should pretty much reconsider your life. The fact that you are b****ing about him on a forum he will never read pretty much proves your shear stupidity. So please go get a life.
I agree that "If I was your vampire" isn't all that great of a track
"Heart-Shaped Glasses" is pretty damn good.
Even if the album ends up not being that great it doesn't matter because he will be on tour again and it will be amazing to see him live.
plus Manson changes every album so if this one sucks then there is always a possibility of another album and it will be different.
Bottom line Manson is absolutly amazing

The album is good. Not Brilliant. 4 last songs from the album are v. good plus the red carpet grave [good chorus] and they say that hell's not hot [again, good chorus]. The rest is like to simple. I've always been a Manson fan, but I mostly like the dirt and lyrics from the albums POAAF ,SLC, AS and lyrics from little less dirty albums MA and HW. Yet, GAOG has only the power [guitar riffs], lyrics suck a little bit. Same with Eat Me...Lyrics mostly suck...there are some good riffs, some good ballads, but it isn't a brilliant album, because it's too simple.

To other manson fan's manson is leaking just a car crash away and the single in 10 or 12 days. also the single will be out in midapril and the video seems to be already done. Cant wait.
