ive been following lp since theyre very early days each projekt tour gets better and better korn adema, snoop? come on people how can everyone b**** that mcr and tbs are playing they both put on amazing shows? did everyone forget the used played 2004? i just seen them the other night with saosin on toc.. lets face it the point of projekt revolution is to take many diffrent styles of music and mash them together in one kick a$$ tour we got the emo mcr, tbs grew out of the emo stage and grew into something more serious placebo, another great band, msi? i dont know why they kick so much a$$ but they do, all i can say is this concert is gonna f***ing rock. stop being whiny b****es and support LP them guys are smart enough to know what theyre doing, they havent failed us yet even after the obscure jayz ish so give it a chance people!

very well said longlostsummer. MCR's newest cd was so good, the music in it, even my old school Uncle says they make good music. TBS has moved out of the quote "emo" stage, and I saw them last summer, they are still amazing and quite a crowd pumper. I think anyone that comes to this tour will like it. And i do know MSI, they are good, i saw them last summer too. they are very funny onstage, even though their humor is quite dirty, and pretty immature, their show will make you laugh. And if you like amazing antics with microphones, then Taking Back Sunday and Mindless Self Indulgence will blow you away. I haven't seen the other bands yet, so i cant say anything about them. Just, this show is not going to suck like evryone is saying it will. And Ozzfest, never been to one, never want to, especially if its free....how many "Amazing Bands" play for free?

Any band willing to play for free is pretty fvcking amazing in my book. Music is about feeling and thought (yes I know that sounds emo but even Nile has feeling, they definitely have thought, which is more than I can say for any of Projekt's lineup), not about profit margins, which is the definition of this tour (profit margins that is).

just to reply to a very ignorant post #17: "how many "Amazing Bands" play for free?"
Well obviously a great lot of amazing bands play for free. Behemoth, Nile, Chthonic, etc. Bands like them play for free, they're gracing us with their presence. But if bands like MCR and MSI played for free, you'd just be getting your money's worth. And THATS THE DIFFERENCE

there is only going to be 3 bands worth seening on this tour link p will be good if they bring some old sh** to the tabel and not this new soft sh**. taking back sunday is a good band to see live. but the bnd thatis going to blow everyone away is mindless self indulgence these guys put on a better show than any other band on the list.

OMG the new single is HORRIBLE!!! everybody go listen to it at www.linkinpark.com if you want to see how bad they are now. I didn't think they were THAT bad before, it got old, but they definitely should have kept the nu metal sound!!! This new sound is NOT GOOD.

LP is far from emo, Their new song kicks a$$, and Projekt Revolution is gonna kick a$$, and if you've read about their new stuff, not just the single, they're doing alot more than something soft
heres a Review from a polish magazine
- Only two tracks sound reminiscent of the old Linkin Park style
- "No More Sorrow" is described as a heavy metal song
- "Shadow of the Day" sounds like classic, old U2.
- "Given Up" is a heavy punk song
- "In Pieces" also has a solo
and for those who don't know, yes, Brad is doing solos now

46. writes:
Okay, I'll believe the "heavy metal song" when I hear it. I don't care if they have a solo it doesn't mean that the song is going to be good. I really don't like U2 and I think Bono is f***ing b****. And I really hate punk.
I don't really understand the last posts first statement. "MCR is always sad u f***in emos quit hiding in da dark" Are you calling us emos? Because I think that most people that are regular visitors on this site are absolutely NOT emo as far as I can tell. and MCR is emo and they f***ing suck ass! I hate when people try to call them metal, especially themselves.

Well LP really let me down with their new single out right now. SYNful Wrath on post 44 is correct then i will look forward to it but if it aint sh** then i guess i'll be let down again and post 49 i agree H.I.M is also my nearest favorite band so i thats all i gotta say about that.

I really dont get it. What's with peoples obssesion with calling things "emo" these days!? Any band you dont like thats a bit too slow of poppy or you think sucks is now emo. Ive heard a lot of these bands and some dont even go neer emo.(as in the musical genra not the new f***ing sucks term) I agree with one part though, All of the bands here are way too poplular for there own good, which makes there new stuff suck (like My Chem and HIM) But im excited for placebo.

The statement that I made that refered to emo with this band was "Oh and I was just thinking, Linkin Park said that they weren't going to be nu metal anymore. Since they're playing with these bands does that mean they're emo now or what?" That statement was before I heard their new sound and they said that they've changed. And since these bands are nothing like what they were before I was wondering what they were going to sound like. With this band, their new single is not emo but it is a little pop punk sounding to me. I honestly think they sound a little bit like Good Charlotte's new sound. They should've kept the nu metal sound, I definitely prefer that to this sh**.

good f***ing lord what an absolutely, totally worthless lineup. i dont think i could pick a worse one if i tried. All of these bands suck and have always sucked. they suck live, they suck recorded and their image is f***ing gay. linkin park was never "metal" anything, not even nu-metal. they've always been pop/rap/emo.

62. writes:
I'm not saying that they sound emo, they do sound pop though. They really should've kept the nu metal sound at least it had some rock in there even if it did have some rap. At least they were different before and they had a signature sound, now they're just going to be blended into a bunch of other crap that sounds the same.

I like LP's new sound honestly, and in my opinion this is like many concerts I've been to, one good band but the rest suck. Saosin is okay I suppose, as is Taking Back Sunday though I don't personally listen to anything more than LP from this lineup, but as long as none of the bands play with LP on stage, I'll just tune it out like I do with most music I'm forced to hear against my will. As long as I see LP live the other load of crap is bearable.
