Lamb of God have been rumored to be part of the 2007 edition of the Family Values Tour with Korn, Evanescence and Aiden. More info will be announced in the coming weeks. Despite their listing on the Virgin Records e-card, the band has not committed to the tour and are still finalizing their summer tour plans.

Hell f***in' no. They better not unless they want to be the next Filter. Remember Filter? I didn't think so. They should just wake Limp Bizkit up and make them f***ers go out in the summer heat by themselves and play full sets to crowds of 30 people who don't care anymore. Lamb of God, if you're reading this, DON'T DO IT!

If there was another band on the tour remotely heavier than Evanescence and Aiden, I think it could be a ballsy but smart move. They've already done SOTU, Ozzfest and several other big tours. But given the current lineup so far it seems like they'd be more like outcasts and not gain many fans from such a tour (if they are even tolerated by the fans and not booed off the stage).
After turning down Ozzfest one year (the yeat they did SOTU I think) based on the weak lineup, I can't see them doing this though.

9. writes:
they really should do sounds of the underground again, 2005 SOTU was one of the best concerts I've been to. unholy alliance would be great but that tour hasn't come anywhere in florida so ehhh....
but don't f***ing do it, never seen korn, not the biggest fan but would like to see them, so if they can get a much better line up than that with korn and lamb of god then I'm all for it but not with that lineup
10. writes:
wow! u guys r stupid LOG should do it because it's a big tour and it might give um more fans! sh** this tour did better than ozzfest last year! why dont u want them to with korn? wow like I said so much hate for such a good band. and it's not like their wernt eny metal band last year, their was walls of jerhico burry your dead ,deadsy and other under ground bands so shut up they would fit right in! but I dont like evanescense being on the tour not hard enough.

11. writes:
I doubt going on the Family Values tour would give them more fans. If anything they would lose fans who were p***ed on them going to a show full of weak bands. I agree with everybody who says that LOG should go back on the SOTU tour. That tour is always solid.

12. writes:
booed off the stage? if any group of fans booed one of the best metal bands this generation has seen, the little emo bastards should be shot...It would give family values more fans than it would LOG...Korn is heavier than people think due to their recent productions, but they still kick ass...went to last year FVT in camden (killadelphia), stood onstage for Korn, they still rock...LOG are amazing, but would be better served playing Ozzfest (Freefest) again, or even Unholy Allliance again...if they must do a festival....

13. writes:
Definitely not a fit, the rest of the bill blows, korn kick a$$ and lamb of god is the best and heaviest band out there. Aiden are pu$$ies and amy lee has admitted she is tired of rock, shes a pop singer, no one that loves rock and metal will tire of it...fraud...keep it alive!........\m/ \m/

Bands don't try to get famous so they can languish in obscurity their entire careers. They get famous so they can make money and be popular. Selling out isn't what some of them do, selling out is a prerequisite to being famous. If I was in a band for ten or twelve years playing the same dank musty basement clubs yera after year and someone not only offered me a lot of money, but bigger gigs and comfortable living as well? f***, yeah, I'd sell out. I'd sell out in a second. My mom needs a new house. My kids need food. I need a new car. I'm pretty sure LoG already "sold out" by your definitions, when they were forced to change their name because "Burn the Oriest" was deemed too offensive.
26. writes:
WOW! Please explaine to me how LoG "sold out" Texas. I don't think they have sold out in any way. They may be big in the metal world but as far as the average music fan goes they are still unknown. I'm waiting to hear the answer to this one. LoG "sold out"....that's funny. If you believe that then you are nuts.

28. writes:
Your_Mom is right, LOG are not sell outs. Come to Canada and listen to our radio stations, there is no LOG playing on our "Rock" stations (at least in my area)....................Canadian radio sucks!!!!!!
I still have not seen LOG live but am looking forward to it

well to anyone that thinks that aiden are "p***ies" have you ever actually listened to their music??? no i don't think so because if you did, you wouldn't say those things. they DO NOT sound like afi or my chemical romance. and i should know at least part of that because i am hard core for mcr, and there is a definite difference. and not to mention they are some of the nicest guys you'll ever meet, and the put on one HELL of a show, not something you see much of these days. so do the research before you open your mouth. its going to be a great tour.

36. writes:
financially this would be a smart move for them. i dont give a sh** who they tour with as long as they keep putting out good music. anyone who stops being a fan because they joined this tour is an idiot. bands make music to make money, if bands were not making enough money they would stop making music cause when your trying to put food on the table music is not important.
39. writes:
Hey Anna, Aiden f***ing suck!!! They're EMO! Wrong site for that bullsh**! They're on the Taste of Chaos tour right now. And yes I have heard of them and I listen to a band before I f***ing judge them. Maybe they do put on a "HELL of a show" for an emo fan, emo is easily one of the worst movements to ever happen to the music world and people in general. And don't gimme any of that emo = emotional bullsh**. Anybody can have emotion for their f***ing music and that has nothing to do with just emo.
40. writes:
I agree with slayerdisciple, and ever if they do go on this tour who cares. If you don't want to go to the show because of the other bands playing then don't go. And some people say stick with Unholy Alliance, SOTU, or OzzFreeFest. It's not like it's their choice to definitely be on one of those. And I agree I would enjoy that more but it's not like they're the ones running the tours.

42. writes:
yeah ok......... i never made any of the emo claims...... but whatever.............. im not even emo myself........ but what you say is bs bc it seems like no one appreciates music where the lyrics are deep and actually mean something. its not just mindless screaming. not that i dont like the mindless screaming........ but bands like aiden......... they have a message and are saving peoples lives........... but whatever.

44. writes:
thank you bassmaster! you will probably get to meet them bc they usually meet fans at shows and stuff. they are really nice guys, and its always good when a band can stay personal with their fans. just a side note but, wiL of aiden said that ever song from nightmare anatomy came from a personal experience. die romantic, was written for a fourteen year old best girl friend of his that committed suicide when she moved across the country........

45. writes:
i forgot to add something else...... you want some truly emo bands? try listening to two of the worst bands in the world, fall out boy and panic at the disco. just because wiL wears makeup does not make him or his band emo. oh and here's a clincher for you. you say this is the wrong place to talk about these things? Aiden was on the cover for the recent metal edge magazine for crying out loud, that has to say something. or is that not a credible magazine, or are they just a bunch of p***ies for putting a band like Aiden on their cover?

48. writes:
THEY...ARE NOT...METAL!!! Listen to their music. It says right on iTunes that they're a blend of melodic punk, screamo, goth, and post-hardcore. "in their liner photos their heavily made-up eyes all glare at you from under diagonal, dyed-black bangs." That is so metal! NOT!!! And them being on Metal Edge makes me look down on that magazine, they're supposed to be covering metal but it seems that they're trying to branch out to the punk bands too. That sucks. I still think they're emo.

52. writes:
Anna ur right that it doesnt discredit them my point was that they arnt metal just because they were on the cover of some damn magazine, and u didnt say they were metal but u implied it when u said "Aiden was on the cover for the recent metal edge magazine for crying out loud, that has to say something." and wearing makeup doesnt make u an emo band it sure as hell doesnt help ur case that ur a metal band

53. writes:
well i didnt mean to imply it. or maybe i did. what i was trying to say is that someone said "this is not the place to talk about this" since it is metal underground, i pointed out that they were on the cover of a metal magazine. they are far from metal. i know that. i realize that you do have a point as well...... have you seen who's been on the last two covers of rolling stone?
56. writes:
I don't care about who was on the cover of Rolling Stone honestly, it has nothing to do with this topic. If it was Fall Out Boy I'm not surprised in the least bit. They're an extremely popular band right now. I don't like them or their music. I'm guessing Aiden was on the other cover?
Aiden don't even really fit in with these other bands on this tour. They should be on Warped Tour. They have probably already have been on Warped Tour. Am I right? And they're on the Taste of Chaos, which is an all emo/punk band tour this year. Correct?

57. writes:
good o'l panic at the disco. two of the best letters to the editor ive ever seen.
1. way to put the biggest joke in music on the cover
2. panic! on the cover or rolling stone? couldnt you have just left the cover blank?
yesh, the sh**tiest bands ever
oh stabbing, come on, have you read the other comments. it has everything to do with a point slayer and i were trying to make to each other. popularity or not, the cover should have gone to a better band like my chemical romance, who kicks fall out boy in the a$$ any day.
and yes they were on warped tour, and they are in taste of chaos, and family values as well. taste of chaos i dont think is all emo punk. unless you count 30stm as a punk/emo band.

59. writes:
i knew it would be someone like panic, i would call 30 sec. to mars an emo band so they belong on taste of chaos, i havent really heard alot of evanesence but wat i have heard i thought was actually pretty good and ive always liked amy lee's vocals but i wouldnt really call them emo as much as simply alternative, just because they sing about breaking up doesnt mean theyre emo now if they sung about how they r in pain because of the break up then yea

61. writes:
I consider 30 seconds to mars emo. I would NOT consider Evanescence emo at all, if it were a guy singing these songs then yes it would have more of an emo sound to it. Like "Call Me When You're Sober" would be very very emo if a guy were singing it. lol But since it's a women vocalist she can write about different things that guys don't write about. I do like Amy Lee's voice, sometimes it gets old but she does have a very strong voice. And they are more like pop/rock. They do have a little bit of nu metal in the music, but I wouldn't necessarily label them as metal.

66. writes:
as much as i like LOG i find nothing wrong if they went on this tour. and i dont find anything wrong with 30stm either, i actually like some of their songs and in case any of you happen to mention this, listening to an emo song does not make you emo, as long as its not what you mainly listen to.

67. writes:
i agree with you liquid metal. i listen to everything from aiden, to killswitch, korn, flaw, mcr, saosin etc...... i def have a taste for hard music. not saying those bands are so dont freak out...........
off topic here but flaw just got back together.... so excited....

85. writes:
First of all, f*** this. Family Values? Doesn't sound like LoG to me. Second of all, what the hell is wrong with Blythe? In my opinion, he's amazing. He can do all the other death metal stuff if he wants, he can make high pithced screams not sound b****y, and he actually makes words while still maintaining that death metal growl. Blythe is one of the best.
87. writes:
Bad Idea, They should be doing Unholy Alliance Tour 2007 - I am sure Lamb of God will go seeing how acceptional their performance was last year. Them and Bodom are the only two bands Ive ever seen open for slayer and not get the "SLAYER!" chants in the middle of their sets. Just wait, I think they will be on UAT with Slayer and bodom again. But I may be wrong

90. writes:
post 85 i dont like blythe cause his voice is a little to metalcore for me i prefiere the stuff on burn the priest to anything log did (except as the palaces burn), agreed with Azazel more solos could def. improve this band, but blythe is also a jackass (imo) and this band is gonna break up anyway

92. writes:
Evanescence and Aiden are not metal. Korn's old stuff had potential, but there new stuff is not metal. FVT is much more of a hard/pop rock tour. Look at last years bands. Stone Sour is not metal. Flyleaf is not metal. Deftones is more nu-metal esque. So if none of the bands that go on this tour are really metal, how can the tour be considered a metal tour? You can't tour w/Bodom and Slayer one year, then go with Korn and Evanescence the next.
94. writes:
post 91 this kinda tour can kill ur cred when a band who is supposed to be underground, actually metal, etc. because the purpose is usually (usually is the key word) to stay underground not go to a mainstream selection and with this kinda tour u kill ur underground status by workin with the mainstream etc. now this holds true to a much greater extent with black metal and the more underground death metal bands but a band like log (NWOAHM) is already mainstream in metal so i dont like them any less nor do i dislike them any more if this is true (wont be proud of them)

95. writes:
LAMB OF GOD PLEASE READ THIS:
i used to love killswitch ...then they went on the taste of chaos tour...with sh**....now they have a pretty bad album out which luckly i won so i ddit waste any money on it....now wat will happen if u go on tour with korn eveanxeger and f***ing aiden?! i know...yur gonna become sh**...you'll loose yur dedicated fans who have been with u guys since day one like me and you'll gain all these sh** new emo eyeliner wearing fags that went to go see aiden and evenance or however u spell it.....please dont do it....and while im at it..the sacrament tour....u said yur doing clubs....do f***ing starland in jersey thats a club...nj loves u guys...and last time u were in jersey was when u guys were f***ing all time brutal...not saying yur not but the first 3 albums were f***ing amazing..sacrament is still a great album but...not the same as "as the palaces burn" ...make another kick a$$ album like as the palaces burn
96. writes:
Don't count on bands reading it dude, again another person that will never come back. I'm not saying that all these bands don't read these, because ya never know, but don't count on it. And dude, they didn't come to a lot of places on the Sacrament Tour. I'm dissappointed that they didn't come to Chicago. I still haven't even seen Machine Head yet and I really want to. So don't complain because NJ isn't the only place.

98. writes:
And if Lamb of God is playing and you boo them, I hope that the fans that are there to see lamb of god beat your ass. Congradulations for liking an untalented band that lost their luster years ago. To me if a rock band has rap artists featured on their CD then they need to stop and reevaluate what they're doing.

102. writes:
Anna, I have to say, I agree with your post above, but really, if you're at the FVT, I don't think anyone's gonna kick your ass...Most of them would Tripp on their Eisen mallcore parachute pants before they could get to you lol (Sh1tty pun intended)...
Now if you're at a Slayer concert, and boo them, THEN! You'd be beaten to death...And thats no exaggeration there.

104. writes:
eh, well being a wearer of tripp, not the pants but the cute skirts and what not, i would personally beat the hell out of someboday. not to be bragging but i had to beat this chick up at one of my last concerts, cause she was just pissing the hell out of me, threw her a$$ so hard she flew past about three people......
again though, if your at a concert and you boo the band..... you deserved any forthcoming beatings. dont go to the damn thing if you dont like who's playing, its a waste of your money and a waste of my good time you know?
106. writes:
slayerdisciple, you make a better statement...People get beaten to death in Slayer pits by ACCIDENT...Imagine what fans would do to you intentionally!
Anna, never had anything against Hot Topic skirts (hehe...Voyeurism...No I'm kidding, but its always a good view with skirts on *growl*). Whoa, past 3 people? You exaggerating, or are you just really butch? YOUR last concerts? You play music?
Honestly, I'd say about bands that suck not to waste your money on them to boo them...But honestly, at Slayer and Behemoth I'd want someone to pay for tickets to their own death...I DARE someone to go to concerts of some of MY BANDS and boo them! I'd pay just to see one of those idiots get fvcked up to death.
Oh yeah, Valentine_no_more, I really hope you get bludgeoned to death by Lex Steele's c0ck...

107. writes:
no im not exaggerating. heh i wouldnt be butch for the world, not into that kinda thing lol. but she p***ed me off so f***ing bad, all that anger had its uses i suppose. no i dont play(i wish!) i just go to alot of shows. not impressive but ive been to eight shows in the past year and a half.
but i share your sentiments exactly, which is why i beat the sh** out of that girl. bouncer actually came over and told her that if she didnt back off me she was getting kicked out. lmao.....

Anna, chill out, don't stumble on your words here...We feel ya...I was just helping slayerdisciple, me and him go way back, like when I used to like Nu Metal lol...I wish he'd be on AIM more though!
And don't worry, I do know what the difference between Catholics and other denominations. My current girlfriend is Catholic too (She isn't too pleased with the prayers to Euronymous bit either)
116. writes:
oh yeah, my girl Tania is thinking of becoming a member here to learn about Metal...(speaking of Catholics lol)
yeah, Korn USED TO BE my favorite band, but I've seen the light-*erm*-darkness, since then...
Now if you wanna talk about unbearable denominations, Pentacostals, and those who claim to be 'non-denominational', they're all a bunch of overly-zealous pricks that make Christianity cult-like (and not in a cool way)

118. writes:
f***ing Lamb of God should have nothing to do with p***y a$$ emos. but i think they should do it. i like evanessence, her voice is a little whiney but the guitars good and amy lee's hott. they should do it because they're extending to other crowds besides metal heads and sh**. they'll get bigger and that's really all that matters. and if i ever see an emo wearing a LOG shirt, i'll still f***ing beat the sh** out of him.

127. writes:
no offense but this lineup is really horrific...LAMB OF GOD IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN THIS...SB&M you are funny....yes we are mean and br00tal but it's okay i like my metal that way...evanescence=sh**, aiden=sh**, korn=sh**, wtf is LAMB OF GOD THINKING =====seriously now...and well ya LOG is the only band that is metal...whatever it is what it is and i hope they don't follow through with it for their sake...cheers.....
