Cleveland thrashers SKELETONWITCH have officially inked a deal with Prosthetic Records. Fresh off self-releasing the 'Worship The Witch' EP, the band will now join the Prosthetic roster having already shared stage with the likes of High On Fire, Bleeding Through, Overkill and labelmates KYLESA earlier this month.
Tentatively scheduled for a fall 2007, the forthcoming SKELETONWITCH release will be produced by Cory Smoot (Municipal Waste, GWAR) in June and comes off the heels of a previous full-length and an EP in addition to persistent touring. The band, regarding their sound, declares, "Imagine a young Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, and Exodus slamming beers and cranking up Immortal records at a rager in 1985. Just when you think the keg is killed, Judas Priest joins the party with a fresh case of beer."
You can preview current SKELETONWITCH material on their MySpace page. The band is currently working on touring plans for the spring of 2007.
Here are the latest SKELETONWITCH tour dates:
3/05 Cleveland, OH - The Beachland Tavern (with Weedeater, Stinking Lizavetta)
4/07 Parma, OH - The Jigsaw Saloon (with 1349, Goatwhore, Nachmystium, and Averse Sefira)
