Epica Deny Rumors of Singer Defection To Nightwish

Despite rumours, Dutch goth metalheads Epica have denied that singer Simone Simons is quitting to join Nightwish. Epica insist she's not in touch with the Finnish band.

Nighwish entered the studio back in the early fall to begin recording its first album since the departure of singer Tarja Turunen, and have stated that they will not choose a new singer before 2007.

I saw Epica @ ProgPower, and I would have to say she would be a worthy replacement; but I'm not going to believe anything unless I see it on Nightwish's website or on the new album.
