Launch Radio Networks reports: TOOL will return for another North American tour in March and April, according to drummer Danny Carey, who also told Launch that the band's stage show on its next trek will be different from what audiences saw this summer and fall: "The show in the springtime will definitely be different than the shows that went around this fall in America. Projection ideas will be added and changed, and props and whatnot will all evolve too, I'm sure. You know, it's just the way our band always works. We work on that kind of thing all the time."

No dates or cities have been revealed yet for the band's next American jaunt.

TOOL continues to tour in support of its fourth studio album, "10,000 Days", which has sold more than 1.2 million copies since its release last May. The CD's latest single is "The Pot".

The group begins a European trip on Saturday (November 4) in Spain.

TOOL will headline the annual Big Day Out festival tour of Australia and New Zealand, which begins on January 19. The group will be joined by THE KILLERS, MUSE, MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE and JET on the bill, which will hit at least seven cities in both

wow....1.2 million in just 6.5 months.....I suppose Tool making another album isn't in question now, all the bands members were so worried about their relevance today.

Hope they come semi-near my neck of the woods.

TOOL plans to make a new album after their Spring 2007 American tour / end of touring whenever. I hope they come back around Pittsburgh or even Cleveland. I may travel to West Virginia even to see them, because they are THE best band I ever saw live.

I agree with bat eater...

I'd love to revisit Opiate-Aenima type Tool...

Even if just for 2 or 3 songs on a disk...Instead they've ramped up the textures and technical difficulty of the music, which I still enjoy a great deal....But moments like "Part of Me", "AEnima", "Prison Sex", "Eulogy" and "Jerk Off" ((((chills)))) are a done deal...

Tool has grown beyond rage...so it goes. I figured if anything could piss those guys off it would be the current state of the world/U.S. etc.

yeah, they had to skip alot of their dates last time. i bought a ticket to the San Antonio, TX show, and they f uckin cancelled, and we're still waiting to find out if they're comin back or not. The main Tool website tells everybody to just hold on to your ticket, so they better come back. thats almost 70 bucks wasted if they dont

I JUST GOT MY COPY OF 10,000 DAYS AND ITS CLASSIC TOOL. IF YOU ARE NOT SATISFIED WITHT HIS CD, THEN YOU ARE NOT A TOOL FAN...SO TO SAY...YOU HAVE TO LOOK INTO EACH SONG, EACH LYRIC, EACH LINE OF THE BANDS MESSAGE. THE MUSIC ONLY COMPLIMENTS THE LYRICS..STUDY THE BAND, READ THEIR INTERVIEWS, LEARN WHAT THEY BELIEVE, FEEL, LOVE, HATE, AND MAYBE THEN YOU MAY BEGIN TO UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY ARE TRYIN TO GET ACROSS IN THEIR MUSIC. EACH MEMBER PRESENTS CERTAIN ASPECTS OF THEIR DAILY LIVES AND BELIEFS THROUGH THEIR MUSIC, AS DO ALL MUSICIANS. AND TO ALL WHO COME ON FORUMS LIKE THESE AND SMACK TALK JUST TO GET A LAUGH, GROW UP. TOOL ARE A BAND THAT WILL CONTINUE TO ORESENT NEW AND DIFFERENT MUSIC WITH EACH NEW CD. AND IF ITS TOO MUCH FOR YOU TO HANDLE, AS ALL YOU TRENDY ONE HIT WONDER BAND LOVERS FOLLOW, THEN YOU NEED TO QUIT LISTENING TO TOOL. THEY WILL NOT BOW DOWN TO YOUR SPECIFICATIONS OF ENJOYMENT.
