Blinded Colony's "Bedtime Prayers" Release Delayed
The sophomore release from Sweden’s BLINDED COLONY, “Bedtime Prayers” has been pushed to January 9th Worldwide and January 12th in Europe. The primary reason for this stated delay can be cited as a technical problem in the manufacturing and duplication process. Both the Pivotal Rockordings label and BLINDED COLONY hope look forward kicking off a new year on a strong note.
BLINDED COLONY recently posted their first single, “Once Bitten, Twice Shy” from “Bedtime Prayers” onto their Myspace and their Official Website. The song has received great praise from fans and the band looks forward to unleashing the video for “Once Bitten, Twice Shy” which was directed by Thomas Tjäder (In Flames) in December/January.
Pivotal Rockordings will still be hosting a listening party in support of Bedtime Prayers on November 14th at Metal Haven in Chicago at 8pm CST. Directions and information about the event can be found on the BLINDED COLONY Myspace Page. At the listening party, fans can purchase Bedtime Prayers before the release date
in January, listen to the album all the way through in the store, and participate in a “Meet and Greet” with one of the owners of Pivotal Rockordings.
BLINDED COLONY will also be selling the album at all live appearances prior to the official retail release of Bedtime Prayers as a way of thanking their fans for their continued support.
BLINDED COLONY plan to hit the road next year for a European tour and have the following gigs lined up with more to be booked:
Dec 14 2006 Metropolis, Munich Germany (W/ Ektomorf)
Dec 15 2006 Live Factory, Adelsheim (W/ Ektomorf)
