Immortal Rites Completes Work On New Album

German melodic death metal band IMMORTAL RITES has finished recording its second full-length album, "Source Code @ Converter's Day", at Audiospezialist Studios in Germany with producer Martin Schmidt (ex-ATROCITY/LEAVES' EYES drummer). The mastering took place at Unisound Studios in Sweden by EDGE OF SANITY mastermind Dan Swanö.

Commented the band: "Expect the new material to be more modern, various but still to-the-bone in the realms of the melodic death metal genre."

After parting ways with Morbid Records, IMMORTAL RITES is currently seeking a label home for the new album release. Check out a full-length MP3 of the album's title cut at www.immortalrites.de.

IMMORTAL RITES' debut album, "Art of Devolution" was produced by Alex Krull of ATROCITY/LEAVES' EYES and was released in 2003 through Morbid Records in Europe and Khaosmaster Productions in the U.S. The album release was followed by appearances at the Summer Breeze, Fuck The Commerce and Morbide Festspiele festivals and shows with UNLEASHED, BEHEMOTH, MYSTIC CIRCLE, DISBELIEF, and GOD DETHRONED, among others.
