DARKANE guitarist Christofer Malmström posts an update and upload two songs to their Myspace:

"I'm very proud to announce that I'm now officially endorsed by Ibanez guitars. I have been playing Ibanez guitars since 1993 when I decided to go serious about my guitar playing, and wanted a really good metal guitar. After trying out of couple of different brands, I realized that Ibanez was the only right choice. I have been playing different models since then, but over the last years, my main models is RG3120 Prestige. For me this guitar has become a part of the style that I have developed over the years. I also use D'Addario strings and Planet Waves cables.
A lot of people have asked me lately to put up guitar tablature from Layers of Lies.

I haven't had the time and really have to focus on other stuff right now, but to celebrate the Ibanez endorsement, I will put up two songs: 'Secondary Effects' and 'Layers of Lies' within a couple of weeks, so check back soon. DARKANE has played a few shows in Sweden, and right now we are editing the live DVD that we shot in May in Helsingborg [Sweden]. We are still in the beginning process of writing the fifth DARKANE album, and so far it feels very good. If you liked our previous albums you won't be disappointed, for sure!"

i could be wrong, but im pretty sure that those are not new songs? at any rate, i cant wait for new music from these guys. by far the heaviest of the swedish melodic metallers ie: in flames, soilwork, dark tranquillity, and the haunted....very reminicin of fear factory, but w/ way more chops. malmstrom rules on guitar
