Chimaira continues to write material for their next full-length. The group has completed seven songs with vocals thus far, with another four awaiting vocal treatment. One song title revealed by the band is "The Flame." Comments frontman Mark Hunter, "Musically this record reminds me a lot of 'The Impossibility of Reason.' I don't think the songs are similar, I just have the vibe of intensity that I did back then."

The group parted ways with Roadrunner Records following the release of their last album, but have since signed with a new label. We can't reveal the new label, but it goes like this: ****** *****.

how the hell is it to many albums? this would be their 5th actual album, 7th if you include live/compilations, i've seen bands put out 2 albums a year, so they definetly aren't that fast, honestly bands should have a new album atleast every 1 to 1 1/2 years in my eyes to keep things fresh, and i don't mean live albums, or remastered demos....
