Every Time I Die Confirm New Bassist From The Chariot

Every Time I Die recently parted ways with bassist Chris Byrnes and have now confirmed that his replacement is none other than rumored former The Chariot bassist Keller Harbin. The band spoke to MTV about the departure, saying:

"Our bass players are like Spinal Tap's drummers: They just spontaneously combust, We had gone over a year with the same bass player, and that just doesn't happen in our band. If he didn't quit, we probably would have killed him and eaten him."

But apparently, the decision was due to money issues. While Every Time I Die resides in Buffalo, the ex-bassist lives in much-less-affordable New York City. Frontman Keith Buckley explained:

"He really couldn't afford it on our touring schedule and salary, He got a job offer at salary with another band doing sound, so he took that."

He declined to name the band Byrnes has joined. The band promptly replaced Byrnes with Keller Harbin, who, along with Joshua Beiser, left Christian metalcore act The Chariot in June.
