For sure--I saw Protest live two weeks ago and they were awesome. I love the bass player's death vocals live, because you would never guess that that little dude could crank them out. Also, they had to wait on the sh**tiest live band I've ever seen, Zebrahead, to quit playing, and Zebrahead just kept going and going. I thought Protest (who was already set up on the other side of a huge stage) was going to go insane.
I heard they're also going out on tour later with Trivium, so no doubt these tours are gonna get them a huge audience.

If you haven't heard Protest the Hero, they rely on mostly clean vocals with some death vox mixed in, but overall they're failry "light" as metal goes. They're a smart brand of music, though. I would recommend the song "Heretics and Killers," and check out the video for that song, which features flying monkeys.

it is funny that everytime ive seen 3 inches of blood they have repeatedly declared that they are for the "death of false metal", however, now they are touring w/ avenged sevenfold. isnt that some sort of oxymoron, or paradox, or something????? regardless, PTH will show both of the other bands how to play complex, shifting, intelligent metal. (and they are only 18 years old or something rediculous) And most importantly PTH's singer can maybe show Mr. M Shadows or whatever he calls himself how to sing instead of whine.

dragonforce would approach thier vocals that way along
with the rest of those PM bands i would probably like the music
better with the exception of the originators like Priest and Maiden and all and Iced Earth is tolerable.

we are all glad that youre 18, but the bottom line is that Protest is gonna blow a7x off the stage and then everyone will be happy. they are a band w/ real talent and no gimmiks just like 3iob, so at least if you go to the show you will be exposed to some real metal music.
