Disturbed Tap Stone Sour For Music As A Weapon III
Launch Radio Networks reports: DISTURBED has tapped STONE SOUR to appear on its third Music As A Weapon tour. More acts will be announced soon, as well as dates, cities and venues for the trek, which will begin sometime in November. Ironically, DISTURBED is currently co-headlining Ozzfest while STONE SOUR is a featured main stage act on the competing Family Values tour.
DISTURBED drummer Mike Wengren recently told Launch that Music As A Weapon III is likely to run into February of 2007.
Previous Music As A Weapon tours have featured bands like CHEVELLE, TAPROOT and DROWNING POOL in addition to the headliners.

Just what we need more disturbed tours. I think i would much rather take the amount of the ticket and burn it right in front of David Draymon ( i don't know how to spell his last name ) Disturbed sux worse now than ever before. Why does this mediocrity ( if you can even call it that ) continue to perpetuate the metal world. They're not even close to cutting edge. The fact that they had to bring on Stone Sour to support the tour only proves how talentless Disturbed really is. Although i can't really say i'm a huge fan of Stone Sours last album i can safely say that they should be the one's headlining this tour. By giving Disturbed the lime light you're only encouraging them to write more music. When will it all end?

I was a witness to FVTour 2007 about a minth ago here in S.A. (FREAKIN' AWSOME) This can only be better! (Although Staley's replacement looks weak) We all know Jerry is the man running the show, so I beleive they will so great. The rest of the line uop soeaks for itself. HOW FREAKING LUCKY is SAN ANTONIO to have all these artists in TX at one time........Music As a Weapon better hit us too. I can't wait to see Stone Sout for the second time this year, much less being able to see Disturbed, I had to pass on Ozzfest cause the wife had a wedding I had to be at....

disturbed is a good band, everyone says all their music sounds the same, but it is quite the opposite. their music is more diverse than most metal and other hard rock bands. people just put them down because of their mainstream popularity. i can easily tell all their songs apart. whatever floats ur boat i guess. i have yet to listen to the new stone sour aside from the 2 singles. their 1st album was ok but the only songs that stood out to me were bother, tumult, and the song about inhaling and exhaling lol. hopefully they will pick up with more of a slipknot sound without all the unnessecary antics and silly costumes, even though i am a slipknot fan.

actually i think 10k fists is better than the sickness. the sickness is too numetal ish. not that its not a good album, it used to be my favorite but as my taste changed away from bands like korn and godsmack to bands like slayer and lamb of god, i started liking the 2nd 2 albums more. beleive is still my favorite though.

I would go! Even though I just saw Disturbed at Ozzfest, and am seeing Stone Sour on the 18th. I would still go.
