Black Stone Cherry Announce Tour Dates with Staind

While still in the midst of touring with Buckcherry, southern heavy-rockers Black Stone Cherry recently announced a North American tour in support of Staind this September. Black Stone Cherry will be playing material from their self-titled debut, Black Stone Cherry, (out July 18th) including the single "Lonely Train," which has been acclaimed for its raw, riff-heavy feel and has gained momentum moving from #21 to #16 on the active rock chart last week. Additionally the single was chosen by the WWE to be the official theme song for their upcoming Pay Per View "Great American Bash" (3 hours of wrestling on Sunday July 23rd, live from Indianapolis). Promotional spots featuring "Lonely Train" for the Bash will start to air this weekend.

Black Stone Cherry are signed to Roadrunner Records through a joint venture with In De Goot Recordings, an offshoot of the management firm run by rock music industry veteran Bill McGathy that represents Shinedown, Theory of a Deadman, Chevelle, Puddle of Mudd and others.
