DEICIDE have finalized the track listing for their new album, "The Stench of Redemption", due on June 6 via Earache Records. The follow-up to 2004's "Scars of the Crucifix" was recorded at Morrisound in Tampa, Florida and marks the first recording with the new DEICIDE lineup following the departure of the Hoffman brothers. Joining frontman Glen Benton and drummer Steve Asheim in the new formation are guitarists Jack Owen (ex-CANNIBAL CORPSE) and Ralph Santolla (ex-ICED EARTH, DEATH).

"The Stench of Redemption" (view cover artwork at this location) track listing:

01. The Stench of Redemption
02. Death to Jesus
03. Desecration
04. Homage for Satan
05. Never to Be Seen Again
06. The Lord's Sedition
07. Walk with the Devil In Dreams You Behold
08. Crucified for the Innocence
09. Not of this Earth

Some editions will contain a bonus track — a cover of DEEP PURPLE's "Black Night", with lyrics that were re-written by DEICDE frontman Glen Benton.

As previously reported, DEICIDE have confirmed an all-ages CD release show commemorating 06/06/06 (June 6) and the release of "The Stench of Redemption". The concert will take place at the Iliff Park Saloon in Aurora, Colorado, near Denver. The will also be embarking on a full U.S. tour beginning around September 20 and running through October 31. Plans also exist for DEICIDE to head over to Japan before the end of the year.

MY FAVES-AWESOME.I SAW DEICIDE WHEN THEY PLAYED A GIG IN ENGLAND SOME TIME AGO.IT WAS DELAYED DUE TO A HOAX BOMB THREAT.THE BAND MINGLED WITH THE FANS AND WERE VERY APPROACHABLE.I HAVE TO SAY MANY DEATH METAL/BLACK METAL BANDS HAVE A PERSONA THEY HAVE TO PLAY UPTO IN PUBLIC, BUT GLEN BENTON IS ONE INTIMIDATING MOTHERf***ER TRUST ME YOU WOULD NOT f*** WITH HIM.DO MOST BANDS REALLY BELIEVE WHAT THEY SAY ? I DON'T KNOW.GLEN BENTON IS BORDERLINE PSYCHOTIC. IT WILL BE INTERSTING TO SEE IF THE NEW ALBUM SHOWS ANY CHANGES IN STYLE.MOST DEICIDE SONGS ARE SHORT/ FAST AND TO THE POINT.I WONDER IF THEY'LL EVER WRITE AN EIGHT MINUTE OPUS.I KNOW IT'S NOT THEIR STYLE BUT IT WOULD BE INTERESTING.....

Iam interested in hearing this album and seeing what Deicide will sound like without the Hoofman bros, and with Jack Owen. I'm sure they won't stray much from the Deicide sound, but I still am having interest n hearing it.
