Stone Sour Confirm Album Title
Stone Sour have confirmed that their second album - scheduled for release through Roadrunner on August 22nd - will indeed be named Come What(ever) May.
A video for the song "30/30-150" was just shot in Los Angeles with director Paul Brown (Motley Crue, Otep), and a photo shoot with Chapman Baehler (Velvet Revolver, Audioslave) has also been completed.
The band now plans to rehearse for the next couple of weeks, then shoot a video for the song "Through Glass," after which they will begin a European tour at the Rock Am Ring Festival on June 2nd.
In the meantime, whet your appetite with the band-made studio clip featuring another brand new song, "Reborn," as musical backdrop.

You know what would be funny? If the new Stone Sour disc sounded like old heavy Slipknot. What I'm saying is that the newest Slipknot sounded mostly like a bunch of sh*tty songs left off the Stone Sour CD. Corey needs to make up his mind. I really prefer Stone Sour's debut to Slipknot's 3rd effort, so I really hope he's not turning this into another f*cking Slipknot album. I think he's grasping for straws. Please, Corey, for the love of all that is heavy, STOP MAKING GARBAGE!

here's my question - why the (ever)?
Come What May and Come Whatever May mean exactly the same thing, the (ever) doesn't provide some big twist which completely changes the context/connotations of the title...soooo...it's silly. Come What May would'v done fine.
