Family Values Tour Details, Main Stage Lineup and Cities Revealed

Band Photo: Korn (?)
As previously reported, Korn and The Deftones are heading up the ressurected Family Values Tour, started and headlined by Korn eight years ago. This year's tour is said to have a second stage for the first time, with acts yet to be announced. The main stage will be rounded out by Stone Sour, Flyleaf and Dir En Grey, who Davis described as "this crazy Japanese band that are just out of their minds." Lawn tickets will be $9.99 at each stop.
MTV.com has some more detail and commentary by Jonathan Davis and Deftones frontman Chino Moreno:
"The first [Family Values] with us on it was the best, and we just decided, let's do this again," Korn singer Jonathan Davis said of 1998's outing with Limp Bizkit, Ice Cube, Rammstein and Orgy. "We're gonna break out the old Family Values stuff we got in storage and really put on a cool show."
"No band can go down to $9.99 and do the production and that kind of stuff that we're doing, but the deal we did [becoming equal partners with EMI and promoters Live Nation] allows us to be able to do that, which is really cool," Davis said. "I don't want to slap bands for making their ticket prices so high, 'cause I understand production and that stuff costs a lot. ... But Madonna's are like 300 bucks a ticket. I can't even believe that. Ten bucks for a show is ridiculous, and I think kids that aren't Korn fans will wanna go just to check out other bands or just go to have a good time."
Having a good time will also be a priority for Korn, who will balance their intense sets with a lot of backstage hanging out.
"We haven't toured with [the Deftones] since '97 or '96, and we're really excited," Davis said. "We love those guys. We started out together. Literally it was us and them, and back in the day we used to drive to Sacramento [California] and play at their home clubs. And they would drive to Huntington Beach and play the clubs we'd play, so we've been friends for a long, long time, and it's cool to be back together again and sharing the same stage."
Tour dates for the 30-city Family Values Tour have not been announced yet, but organizers have released a list of cities:

very smart to sell the tickets that cheap, b/c it is the only way they're gonna sell w/ all the other tours out there......cant stand Korn, or any of the bands on the tour quite frankly, but i definitely admire their perseverance and dedication to their craft. A lot of young bands who want that one-off huge record deal could learn a lesson from them......They dont need to do this tour (and the shouldnt), but they do it for the people that listen to them.....gotta respect that...........oh yeah, BEHEMOTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Flyleaf have the best female singer I've heard vocally maybe ever. So few female vocalists can pull off the screaming and the singing voices both so well...it's always one or the other...Great singing voice, excellent screaming voice and she even dares to tread between the two....
Problem is her lyrics are kinda hokey and the band is too generic...Kindof Korn by way of 12 Stones sounding. Potential out the a$$ since they're so young.
Korn would be a good act to catch if they stuck with the old material only...and The Deftones can play their entire catalog, they're a fantastic live act as long as you catch Chino on a sober night. I've seen them 3 times the first and third were great the second show (White Pony tour) was awful.
Not a bad show in all fairness for 10 bucks at least it would be a good place to get hammered and force deafness on yourself.

on a side note... f*** this tour, Korn's live show will be lame without head, Deftones suck, flyleaf has LOTS of really p***y sh**, Stone sour is alright but nothing special, and you have all missed the biggest part of the 10 dollar tickets... they're on the f***ing lawn! Who the f*** wants to be on the lawn, I want to know what they're gonna charge for floor. The last Family Values SUCKED! f*** this tour right in the a$$ with a big rubber d***.
kale, so what if its on a f***ing lawn...!? Its still a show...you can mosh anywhere, quit being a little b**** and either go and enjoy or not go cuz you wanna be PICKY...
kenny, I'll sneak in...
Zos Kia Cultus, who cares, if you're not there for Korn, you can be there for Dir En Grey...They actually have skill

I like Korn and Deftones and all but I LOVE Dir en grey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So far this is the most exciting news I have gotten...well...EVER!!! =^-^= I live in Florida so I dont get to see the J-Rock Visual Kei goodness at all except for Youtube.com which lets face it its not the same. Count me in for the Tour!!!! I'll be one of the crazy people in the front of the Dir en grey stage spazing out XXXDDD Nice going to Korn though they really picked a good band to play...no not good AMAZING! XD
Ja ne!
I actually enjoy the lawn "seats" at the larger fests. I never complain about the price because even Ozzfest isn't bad at around $45. For something like Ozzfest, I'm there more to check out new bands and hear good music and enjoy the environment. I've been to plenty of shows where I'm up close to the stage and can't really enjoy watching the performance for whatever reason (overly violent/drunk ppl pushing and/or looking for fights, etc), so it's nice to sit on the lawn and chill sometimes.

kyo's a frecking 5'2 god, but PREASE, keep all limbs from the stage...just a warning, but yeh, kudos to davis for resurrecting the values...but how the f***ed he find diru??? anyways, hopefully i'll be able to creep out to see everyone in raliegh, because deftones make me wanna kill and grope people and korns new sh**s not that bad. they just had a relapse...im figuring im gonna die soon, so i might as well get killed at a kick my a$$ concert (my first, none the less...i'm a concert virgin ><) ffuucckkkkdghghdjghdjkg, the lawns fine with me. id f***in watch in a tree, its damn worth it..
Anonymous #2, I think I saw a recording of that video where Kyo fights...somewhere on the net...BUt I didn't put two and two together...Thanks for enlightening me...
Well, MetalUnderground's introduction to J-Rock bands definitely made MU less of a sausage fest...Thank God...

KoRn... is a band I will always love and support, just because Nonie is awesome! (Jonathan Davis for those who don't know the nickname) and Dir en Grey are GODLY. That is all there is to it. I'm going for two bands TWO KORN and DIR EN GREY!!! I can't wait and I'mma be sleeping outside the damn ticket place for front row seats. I'm so excited I can't wait for them to release the tour dates.
BodomFan, alot of the hardcore Metal fans love/will love Diru...
RM?, listen to Diru's albums, MACABRE, and WITHERING TO DEATH...They kick ass...
moderdaymeatmagician, you are dead wrong, Diru will PWN the others, its a miracle DIru is even playing on the same stage as Korn...Dir En Grey just GRACED the others with their skill...
Man, all these J-Rock fans are coming out the woodwork on MU...I'm assuming their mostly female...THANK YOU DIRU FOR MAKING MetalUunderground LESS OF A SAUSAGE FEST....
Dir En Grey will definitely be the highlight of the tour...They have more skill than all the others combined...

I am Going for Dir en Grey. I just loved their stuff when I first heard it. Me and JD from Korn were like what the F***! Who in the hell are these guys?! If you look at their lyrics, they are VERY dark.... Take Embryo and Mazohyst of Decadence. Embryo talks about a girl being raped and impregnated by her father Which is messed up. Mazohyst of Decadence takes everything of being twisted in rock music because it talks about a child not even born yet witnessing his own abortion. I love Dir en Grey for their TWISTED ways. Korn is not as good as they used to be sadly.... I f***ing hate Deftones and I want to see Flyleaf, maybe not as much as Dir en Grey. I never heard of StoneSour though.

I'm so excited about Dir en Grey! I missed them when they were playing in NYC last month. I'm so glad they finally made it to the states! I've been waiting for years! I love them so much! The only album of their's that I have yet to own is the gauze album, which is sad. I'm not too sure about some of the other bands though.

yeh, meat man? dont judge. your just missing out on the band that f***in saved my life...just listen to f***er family, embryo, meciless cult...or anyhting else, at that.
my GODS this is all i can think about..and how ill somehow go to raliegh w/o ma parental unit knowing. ah...sucks not having a car, OR an alibi.......

Liv Kristine has some nice vocals for Leaves Eyes and Theater Of Tragedy and the only
song i liked the last COF cd.
Tarja did a good job with Nightwish too bad they fired her.
And are you talking about the Wilson Sisters from heart? Man i wished i still had that AIC "SAP"
cd with them jamming that was some really good music.

WHAT THE FU CK ! ALL THIS TALK ABOUT KoRn BEING sh**TY, SCREW ALL THE DUDES WHO SAY THEY SUCK, THEY ARE REALLY GREAT MUSICIANS AND PLAY REALLY GREAT MUSIC. CANT BELIEVE THIS. TALK ALL THE sh** YOU WANT AFTERWARDS BUT KoRn IS GREAT!!!
ONE DAY THEY WILL STOP, AND SINCE HEAD IS GONE ITS HARDER, BUT THEIR LEGACY WILL SHOW ALL YOU GUYS WHAT GREATNESS THEY BROUGHT TO THE MUSIC WORLD.
Yeah I kinda have to agree Brad.
Amos is indeed a rare talent but she isn't churning out metal and thats what I'm wanting, a gifted female vocalist in a metal band.
I actually have the new Drac cd "Arcane rain" and Johanson is the better vocalist....Flyleafs vocalist sounds a bit too much like Avril Lavigne after a few listens...but
I'm desperate to find a female vocalist that has a good crooning voice who screams and shrills just as impressively....
I have faith that someones out there and I've just missed them somehow, but almost all female vocalists in metal bands are crooners only....(Kitties vocalist has come close to what I want but neither her singing voice, screams or lyrics do anything for me...not to mention the rest of the band) and the lyrics are somewhere between meh and abysmal.
Or if they do scream they're in a generic hardcore band and never sing a note....Or they're Otep, and they suck...heh...

I like the Deftones, but I can't stand Stonesour and Flyleaf (the vocalist's voice is very grating and annoying and the lyrics are nothing new). But, DIR EN GREY! Who would've ever thought! I personally like their older music better since it's nothing like I've ever heard before, but I think their newer stuff are still amazing. Also, check out the lyrics by Kyo (vocalist/lyricist of Diru). They're so abstract, surreal, and out there. It kind of reminds me of Bjork's or Radiohead's lyrics. I especially love the lyrics to "egnirys cimredopyh - an injection" and "Mazohyst of Decadence." Also check out their song, "Asunaki Koufuku Koena." There's a bit of a jazz/rockabilly twang in it. Cool. Also, Azazel Begotten, good choice with Macabre, my personal favorite album. Some of its songs remind me of Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin but a lot more subversive.
Oh yeah...for the diru fans here. Do you guys think they're a metal band? Some of their songs are definitely metal, or even nu-metal, but it seems like as a band, they're not really metal.

FOR THE PEOPLE WHO HAVEN'T HEARD OF STONE SOUR IT IS THE LEAD SINGER OF SLIPKNOT, COREY. NOT DOING THE MAGGOTS ROUTINE... KORN IS THE SH*T AND F*CK YOU ALL FOR THOSE WHO HATE THE BAND WHO STARTED ALL OF THEM ANYWAY, DIR EN GREY WAS REVOLUTIONIZED BY KORN SO F U. I think the new set is awesome for korn's show. if you haven't seen them recently then you shouldn't speak. They wanna bring our music back, if it wasn't for korn or the rest of them on the tour the music would be dead. You all act like you think you know who is what. man you don't know sh*t. I am definetly there and if you don't like the concert then don't go... because they don't want a bunch of b****es and ho's there anyway. I hate people who think they know what's best... guess what for all the negative sayers out there f*CK YOU AND SHUT THE F*CK UP... PEACE......
JD

Dir en Grey in NYC kicked ass. It's good to know the hardcore fans who flew in from ALL OVER THE COUNTRY (I came from Buffalo) to see them sold out the show and proved to them that its worth it for tham to come to the USA. I'm going to MULTIPLE dates near Buffalo, look for me and my friend in the FRONT of the line, sporting the D.e.G threads. REPRESENT THE DIRU!

I am soo flippin happy I get the opportunity to see Dir En Grey again! They are my idols, Kyo has the most amazing voice and his screams are unlike any other rock bands! If you dont know Dir En Grey, I suggest you go to bestbuy and buy Withering to Death which is coming out on the 16th. Favorite song= The Final and Merciless cult

DIRU rules
i dont care if you are obsessed with korn, deftones, stone sour, flyleaf, slipknot or anyt other band; if you listen to diru, you wont regret it
they are by far, one of the most amazing bands i have ever heard and are rivaled by no one. each song has amazing energy, poetic, albeit disturbing, lyrics, and enough sound to blast you into the next century, or further
powerful vocals, amazing guitar, mindblowing drumbs, and strong bass, there is achievement and talent in every note
when i misssed the nyc concert, i pretty much went into shock. however, there are two possible CT venues, and i thank God for them
the tickets are dirt cheap. so strange considering the popularity of the band in Europe and Asia, but it's all for the fans and the fans will be happy
i am dragging some fellow diru comrades to be blown away as well. maybe even some diru first timers
support the best group on earth; their cd is on sale may 16: "withering to death"
check out their songs "cage", "child prey", and "hades"

Dir en grey is the greatest F*cking band alive . 10 dollars to see Diru in Toronto live ? F*ck yes ! Every single one of their albums is good and all of their PVs kick @ss ! Anyways I don't really care all too much about the others bands , but i'm going for Dir en grey no matter what !.

FOR ALL DIR EN GREY FREAKS,
I sure hope that your lame azz band plays first, so that all little asian punk rocker wanna be's LEAVE after that. After all, I would not want you to be offended by any of the other bands on stage outstaging Dir En Grey. Such tragedy I am sure you would like to not witness. That would also ensure that the REST of us will enjoy the show. For all those that talk trash about KORN, just remember this. KORN started a new wave of metal. If it wasn't for them, or bands like them, your chitty little dir en grey, or as I like to call them, dic*k in gravy, wouldn't even exist. SO ALL OF U SHUT THE FUC*K UP. CAUSE IF U HAVEN'T SEEN KORN LIVE, U HAVEN'T SEEN CHIT.
THERE ARE ONLY 2 KINDS OF BANDS IN THE WORLD, 1ST THRE'S KORN AND THEN THRE'S THE REST OF THEM.

Dir en grey in Canada... I don't care how they made it here, but I'm damn happy they finally have (or will be, that is). Waiting 6 years is painful... even if I DID see them in NY (happiest day of my friggin' LIFE).
Once this is confirmed that they'll 100% be in TO I'llb e off to get a plane ticket and book time off work. Hah... seriously can't believe it's happening. Seeing the other groups would be a treat as well, but I'll truely be there for Dir en grey.

Been a Dir en grey fan for years. I'll be going to NY&NJ shows. I'm going to support everyone, but mostly to pay respect to Dir en grey. Their music is completely f***ing amazing. But like I said, I'm going for everyone. I'm not biased. I'm just in support of artists who make good music. :) See ya there.

Oh, PS-- deppestmazohyst--
I DON'T think Dir en grey is a metal band. They can't be sorted into a catagory, I believe. No matter how hard you try. Their sound is uniquely their own, and it can't be called one specific thing, because their sound is always morphing into something different.

Exactly, Ryou
A lot of fans are disappointed that they've changed so much over the years, but I think it's amazing how they keep reinventing themselves and coming out with such amazing material. It shows their range as artists. And Kyo's a f***ing genius when it comes to lyrics. Can't deny that.
And he's such an unapologetic performer. He had me sobbing at the NY concert this past March.
Thank God KORN saw the talent and put them there. Hopefully this'll be the first step to their popularity in the U.S. They've worked their asses off in Japan so many years and done so well over there, they deserve to do well when they finally decide to come over here.
Definitely going to the Boston concert...gonna try to make the NY/NJ ones if I can.

True true.
However I think I might kill myself if they put out a pop album.
Then again they wouldn't do that. ... and if hell freezes over and they do, I'd give it a try just because it would still be something special.
(I just had the funniest mental image of Kyo doing choreography dressed like Britney Spears or something...dear God that's going to haunt me.)

LOL Kyo singing like Britney. I think I'd cry, and not out of emotion.
And you know I agree with you, Aki. ;) You can't judge Dir en grey for being JAPANESE. (Oh noesssss!!! Their asian!!!&!%%^!) Have a little open-mindedness, and listen to the message being put out. Korn obviously saw it, and it made me respect them so much more.

OH NOESSSS! NOT THE JAPANESE!!!11!!eleventyone!!11!!
And yes, I know you agree with me, Ryou....just as you probably already knew I agreed with you...
And for people who say they don't understand the songs because they're Japanese:
1. there are plenty of places and people willing to translate the lyrics if you feel the need to know what they're saying (or you can start learning Japanese...can't hurt...it's a great language)
2. listen to the emotion of the song without the lyrics...Kyo's lyrics, as I said, are f***ing unbelievable, but he can convey his message through the music as well - the message transcends linguistic understanding.
Give it a try and see what you think. Just like I'm doing with all the other bands that are going to be playing with Dir en grey.

Amen. I like what one reviewer said in my booklet that came with their VULGAR CD: "There is no language boundary in great music."
I ain't judging all of the other bands walking on that stage. They're all there for a reason... to give the audience a great show. Give Dir en grey a chance, because they ARE one of the greatest live bands -in the world- (No no guys, not just in Japan Land) in the world.

They do put on an AMAZING live...I've been to concerts before, and I've never...NEVER...been to anything that moved me like the concert at Avalon did. And my friend that I brought wasn't a really big Dir en grey fan going in, but she was obsessed on the way out.
Granted seeing Kyo perform in the daylight will be a real trip...

Yeah, there were several people at Avalon like that. Every time Kyo even touches a microphone, he just broadcasts this unstoppable charisma. They all do. They sure do like slapping us in the face with energy all at once, man.
Agreed. I'm sure he's just as awesome (sun+Kyo? Interesting mix). Plus, we'll be at like. A bigger venue. I've been waiting for that. Avalon was so small, but it was much more personal.
Hell it WAS personal, if he can make me damn cry during a song like CLEVER SLEAZOID.

Kyo doesn't even need to touch a microphone. He walked out on STAGE and I almost fell over, yo. Man, for a short, weird-looking little man, how does he have so much charisma? He should share the wealth.
I loved the small venue. I mean it didn't have the feeling of the bigger concerts, but...I mean I made my way to the first row of the pit eventually and it was just incredible. I cried during many more songs than just CLEVER SLEAZOID. And I just couldn't speak when I walked out...they started asking us those questions for the article outside and I was just...I couldn't form any words...which is a MAJOR THING for me, as you know.
But I'm also interested in catching the energy of the bigger venue. Kyo's charisma is enough, he'll touch us even then. Probably see me sobbing again....each time I go.

Seeing them preform live was... it just brings a whole new level of everything about them. Plus... seeing Kyo preform live, infront of me, there just seemed to be so much more... communication? You can feel the music so much more, and not just that, be his eyes seemed to have a new level of communication as well. So impressive. All of them.
I actually never cried at the show. I ended up crying the day after on my plane ride home 8D!

I hope they get a full 30 minutes...I mean there are a lot of bands playing.
G.D.S. is such a great opener, I bet they'll do it.
So...if it's a short set, do you know does Kyo still do the whole bleeding like a muther thing? ... not that I'm a sadist... I am, however, a bad liar...
Haha...I love that he did the wrist slashing to Machiavellism: everyone was too scared to even THINK about singing the wrong lyrics.

w00t: I know people that threw up everything they ate every day for like a week after the concert they were so drained by it.
(And then there was the mysterious disease a lot of us - including myself - caught after the fact that we decided to blame on Toshiya, since what we had in common was we all got drenched in his water XD )

XD YES! I totally got sick after too ;-; Both him AND Die got me in the face with water... and Kyo's bucket too :o
I also scraped my hand on the grounded while waiting outside and got diseased from that too >.o;;
I barely ate the day of the concert and my sleep schedule was SO messed up from about 3 weeks before the concert to 2 weeks after the concert. The day of the concert we went to bed at 11:00 and every half hour after 1:00 I kept waking up and SPRINGING up to look at the clock >>; I gave up at three and just stood in line at 3:45-ish @w@;; Paid off, atleast.

Yeah...I got Toshiya, Die and Kaoru water in the face (and mouth)...yay foreign diseases!
Did you notice that the f***er just wouldn't go away either? My body was like, "OH MY GOD WHAT'S THIS?! It's not AMERICAN! I'm going to spazz!!!"
Yeah, I got to Avalon at about 6 a.m. and was part of the Asscrack of Dawn crew too...what my friend and I did was on Sunday night we just didn't go to bed and stayed up through the night and through Monday until 5 p.m. Then we both passed out and woke up at 3:45 to haul our asses into the city.
It definitely paid off. It was the best night of my life.

W00t--
I got so sick after the concert. ROFL. Because I had been living off very little food and water the day before the concert, and the day OF the concert. Didn't have any water going in, walked out and chugged a bottle. Woke up the next morning with some sort of full blown virus.
It was all right, though. Hey, it was Dir en grey's doing.
I also did the 'springing' at the clock. XD Got my a$$ up at 5 AM... (do you have a LJ, by any chance?)

Yes, I do. Zucci_zookeenee. just search it ^^
You may have noticed me if you got there early. I was the Canadian girl with two flags sticking out of her head phones and red hair near the front of the line ^^;; There's also a few pictures of me floatin' about too, I suppose.

I will be glad to go see Diru on their first major North American tour. Even if I have to settle for lawn tickets, and a 3+ hour drive to West Palm Beach it will be worth it. They will make the third VKei band I've seen live(Psycho le Cemu and Despairs Rey were the first two, madprops to JRockhouse and Megacon for booking them), and from what I've seen of their Final 2003 Ugly Kingdom DVD, they are gonna blow the roof off the f***ing place.
BTW, "Withering to Death" has it's North American release tomorrow with a DVD featuring some music videos of theirs.

all i want to say is that "I CANT FREAKIN WAIT FOR DIR EN GREY TO COME TO HOUSTON ITS GONNA BE AWSOME" The 0ther bands like korn are ok too but dir en grey's my first love , I LOVE YOU KYO AHHHHHH!!!!!!! and the people that hate DEG can go suck my granny , hairy BALLS BIOTCH!!!! JA NE

IS VICSTER THE ONLY SMART GUY ON THIS SITE,CUZ FOR SUM REASON THERES ALOT OF f***S,FOR EXAMPLE LOOK AT WHOA SHUT IT DOWN DID U NOT HAVE ANYTHING ELSE TO SAY,U WANT INTIMIDATING HOW BOUT I RIP UR f***EN HEAD OFF AND STICK IT RIGHT UP BRADISp***ed"S a$$ AND LET HIM sh** IT OUT THEN FEED IT TO HIM,WOULD THAT BE NICE U f***EN WASTE OF SPERM,OH YEA BRADISp***ed IS ONE LOAD THAT HIS MOM SHOULDVE SWALLOWED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To KoRnDogg: You are just a 14 year old KoRn idiot. No offense towards KoRn fans that are intelligent. Please refrain from typing any further. Your lack of mannerism is evident.Your impudence furiates me, how can you say a band sucks when you haven't even listened to them? Go play with yourself, because no one cares for your input.
To vicster: Perhaps you should read more. KoRn was never the reason Dir en Grey was created. Dir en Grey started in Japan and was NEVER influenced by KoRn in any shape, form, or fashion. Davis did invite them however, because they have talent. Otherwise they would have never been on the tour. He would not have invited them if they were not good. Instead of saying their only existance was because of KoRn and bands similar to KoRn is a completely uneducated guess and you have no proof of it.
I do however love Dir en Grey, been a fan going on three years and are my favorite band. I do like some KoRn, Stone Sour isn't bad, never heard of Flyleaf. But I will when I get there. If the concert blows, at least I got to hear Diru live. Although Diru's appearance will make this one of the most hyped tours of the year.

^
The above, i.e. Metis's comment is the most intelligent so far on this forum.
"IS VICSTER THE ONLY SMART GUY ON THIS SITE,CUZ FOR SUM REASON THERES ALOT OF f***S..." -KoRnDogg
Isn't it amazing, how metal-fan kiddie mosher wannabes all state each other are intelligent, yet none of them type in proper English? I find it insanely amusing.
If you were to do the research on Dir en Grey, you would learn that they are not and were not influenced by such bands as your nu-metal clones, such as KoRn, Marilyn Manson, and other such. -and yes, I know Manson is not on the tour nor do I have a problem with him, don't impune my intelligence with hate comments ranging from an IQ of less than 30, thank you-
Also, if you were to do the proper research on the band, you would learn that they formed from the ashes of La:Sadies and one of their main idols was Yoshiki from X Japan. Anyone with able fingers and the knowledge of google.com could learn that in a matter of seconds.
Simply put, I could debate this for hours, however, the intellectual capacity of this thread has been breached. Diru earned their popularity without the influence of American culture's "underground" nu-metal scene in 1998 with their single "I'll".
Next time kiddies, research before you rant. It not only gives further knowledge into whatever it is you plan to debate on, but it makes you look a lot less like a menial imbecile. ;)

I see korndogg. Since all of your arguments and comebacks are so weak, u feel the need to capitalize in order to make your posts seem more intelligent. However, it is having the opposite affect so before you try to diss anyone again, try coming up with something that doesnt make you like like a total retard

FIRST OF ALL METIS,I KNOW MORE ABOUT KORN OR ANY BAND FOR THAT MATTER THAN U WILL EVER KNOW AND IM PROBABLY OLDER THAN YOU SO RESPECT YOUR ELDERS PUNK,AND TOSHIYUMA U f***EN JAP,NO BODY CARES TO GOOGLE DIR EN GREY OR RESEARCH THEM.APPARENTLY YOU CANT DEBATE ANYTHING FOR HOURS WITHOUT USING THE WORD GOOGLE,
U f***EN COMPUTER NERD,DONT START AN ARGUMENT THAT U CANT FINISH.
everyones a computer nerd except the kid who's on it the most
dude your down syndrome has gotten competely out of control.
as far as you knowing sh** about metal bands? do obituary, vital remains, hypocrisy, naglfar, lord belial, death, opeth, into eternity, kalmah, zyklon...etc even sound f***ing familiar to you man.
you're on a metal website sh** head. that's why you're the only motherf***er on the site slow enough to actually like the band

ME AND THE MILLIONS OF PEOPLE WHO BUY THEIR RECORDS,GO TO THEIR SHOWS,AND ENJOY THEIR MUSIC.YOU JUST NAMED A BUNCH OF NOBODYS WHO I HAVE HEARD OF,BUT DONT GIVE A f*** ABOUT HOW ABOUT KORN,COLD,MUDVAYNE,STAIND,DEFTONES,TOOL,KILLSWITCH,......ETC
NOW LETS COMPARE BANDS............WHO WINS..............

Amazing how you stereotype, if only you knew I am not Japanese, nor can you even spell the name right in which I use to post on this lame thread.
Another amusing thing is how you try to cover up your lack of intelligence by using curse words, which only makes you look more like a bumbling fool. Learn proper punctuation, spelling, and grammer, then try to have a battle of wits with me, ok? :) You're way out of your league even attempting to respond.
Google.com happens to be one of the fastet growing stocks on the market and the widest known search engine. Knowing that does not make one a computer nerd, however, I gladly take your compliment. I'd rather be a nerd than a brainless troglodyte. ;)
And funny how you claim to know about bands, however, the only one you mention is KoRn.
None of us are fooled by your pathetic attempts at musical knowledge. Get a life, KoRnophile kiddie.

As our opinions are influenced by our personal likes and dislikes no we can’t get along. Let’s not kid ourselves, 95% of the people attending this concert will be there to see KORN. And for all those that think that all KORN fans are unintelligent, bumbling fools that use profanity and bad grammar to make their point, you can kindly go fu*ck yourselves and while you are at it, please take your lame azz, gender confused band with you.
If this offends you, I really don’t care.
By the way KORNDOGG, I am a chick.

VICSTER,I AM NOT THAT GUY,BUT I AM A MAJOR KORN FAN.
THANK U VICSTER,U MUST BE A HOT CHICK!!!!!!!WITH GOOD TASTE!!!!!!!
LORLOR I WOULD LIKE TO SEE U TOO......US KORN FANS MUST STICK TOGETHER ON THESE a$$holeS THAT TALK BADLY ABOUT THE ALL MIGHTY KORN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I never said all KoRn fans were bumbling fools. Only the few who choose to make themselves look as so on this forum. ;)
Nor do I have a problem with KoRn, I enjoy *some* of their music, mainly the older stuff, however, just as lorlor said, "smacking the fans of a band he likes and respects enough to add them to his tour!"
KoRnDogg, if you truly are 25, act like it. ;) Prove your intelligence by agreeing to disagree and stay a proud fan of your KoRn, without bashing on our Diru.
I myself am 18, and have conducted my responses in a manner much more maturely and intelligently than you have, and you are supposedly seven years my senior.
We can have our personal likes and dislikes, however, bashing someone elses likes to make you seem superior, especially on an internet forum, proves how pathetic and low to the ground you are. Do you truly think someone will give you a medal for bashing the likes of others?
Preferably, Diru is my favorite band in the set, however, I still *appreciate* the likes of KoRn and Deftones. (the others I've yet to hear, so I'll keep any bashing out of it)
Lastly (for now), KoRnDogg, have you even heard Dir en Grey before? Even one song? If you haven't, I suggest you humor me and the other Diru fans on this thread and download just one, then go ahead and state whether you care for them or not if it gives you your jollies. Otherwise, you're fighting a blind man's fight and are sure to lose.

OK TOSHIYUMI,FINALLY I RESPECT YOUR RESPONSE........
YOU DID NOT BRAG ABOUT HOW INTELLIGENT U R,INSTEAD U STATED YOUR LIKES AND DISLIKES,AND THAT I RESPECT!
YES I HAVE HEARD 1 SONG BY DIR EN GREY AND I DID NOT CARE FOR IT MUCH, BUT I WILL TAKE THE TIME TO DOWNLOAD SOME OF THEIR OTHER STUFF AND CHECK IT OUT,MAYBE MY OPINION WILL CHANGE.
THATS WHAT THIS SITE IS ABOUT ......OPINIONS.......SO INSTEAD OF THREATNING TO BAN SOMEONE FROM THE SITE TRY CHALLENGING THEM TO THEIR OPINION.YES I HAVE ATTACKED A FEW PEOPLE BUT I HAVE A LOT OF ANGER ISSUES,SO I WILL TRY NOT TO.
AND EXUSE ME FOR MY LANGUAGE SOMETIMES,BUT IF U NOTICE I JUST WROTE A WHOLE PARAGRAPH WITHOUT CURSING.....I REALLY CAN DO IT....!

I'm not gonna go for Korn, or the others...But only for Dir En Grey, and they're selling at $10!!!
I may not like Korn's new sh**, but I admire them for thinking about the fans (or lack thereof) and lowering the prices THAT f***ING LOW! They still have my respect, even if their music sucks now
Dir En Grey are f***ing GIFTED!!!
